My O My take it from me - this is tasty! Lincolnshire sausage and black pudding slice. Delicious either hot or cold and believe me - I have tried both !

Pies back in stock, but now with a delicious home made "proper"gravy sachet to accompany it. Venison today and the pot is bubling as we speak for Longhorn steak and ale and Longhorn Steak and Stilton .

At 11am today, we will be observing the 2 minutes silence in honour of all those who gave their lives for us today.. We will remember them.

Longhorn Beef now on sale alongside our home reared Bison & Venison. Our grandson Jack, now has his own little herd of Longhorn cattle and is ever hopeful that this will pay him a better interest than the building society!

what a little gem called in for breakfast on a recent trip, to melton mowbray, the food was excellent and all local, such friendly people, we can home with bison and pasties both absolutely fantastic , ruth was so helpful on how i should cook the bison, this will be my first stop on my next trip.

What a great find! We were enroute to Melton Mowbray when we stumbled across the little cafe. They were so welcoming and the food was superb. We had a delicious bison burger and pasty. Lovely service and great value too. Wish we lived closer so we could be regulars.

We had breakfast here,fabulous locally produced eggs, bacon, sausages and bread.

Must try for lunch next time, lovely rural setting on working farm, very friendly waitress

Three of us had the Large Breakfast this morning , wow , one of the best breakfasts in the Vale of Belvoir , all locally sourced ingredients , thank you to all involved.

Lovely atmosphere to go with the lovely food cooked by Ruth, all produced is sourced locally and is delicious!!

Just had a lovely lunch from here. Delicious ham with a crisp salad; perfect for a hot summmer's day. Already looking forward to my next visit (probably tomorrow!)

I eat at Ruths Cafe all the time. Her Breakfast is phenominal and the Cafe is cosy and comfortable. You can have a huge "Blowout" or something small. Whatever you have, it's lovely, and service with a smile is guaranteed. You would be Mad to miss out... and the prices are good too ! I am just about to leave soon for me Sunday Breakfast...yum !...bfn...Terry Martyn.

Had the full breakfast and not ate for the rest of the day! Back tomorrow!

Great place to take the grandchildren. Short walk to see the bison of all sizes then back for dinner and play, and a cup of tea. The boys loved watching the tractors and trailers loaded and unloded and many different pick ups passing in and out the gate of this working farm. Will definitely visit again
