We attended a wedding fair here a few weeks ago and fell in love with the place.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a tall of the hall and were givern all the info we could have thought of.

On enquiring about dates and prices again the staff were very helpful and not pushy at all.

The perfect place for a wedding or any other event, no wonder it's one of the top venues in the Midlands, can't wait to go back .

Thrumpton Hall! Thank you so much for our fabulous wedding day on 14/11/14! It was the most magical, beautiful and fantastic day EVER! The catering was exceptionally good, venue was enchanting and you all made us feel so warm and welcome within this beautiful home. All of our guests thought this wedding was made extra special by its location and we agree...it felt like all of us were at home and relaxed all day long! Here is one of our favourite photos of the day. we shall send you some more if you want to take a peek! Thank you again and we recommend this venue to anyone wanting that "magic" on their wedding day! Love Zoe and John x

Lottery Winners press interviews and Lynn was the most amazing host ever, she even took time to show us round after the press had left ‚̧ԳŹ

It was a really amazing place to spend our most important day there. All the perfect helpful staff are there all the time to help us. Thank you Lynn and Paula, it was our pleasure to meet both of you. Thank you for all the help for our wedding. We loved this please.

In one word !!! Absolutely divine stunningly beautiful

I held a mid-week residential Writing Retreat event for 18 University PhD researchers at Thrumpton Hall on 23-25 April 2018. We had exclusive use of the hall and occupied all of the bedrooms at Thrumpton over a 2 night basis.

This 17th century venue absolutely stunning - both inside and out, and was a simply perfect location for our event, and I can totally see why it would make an amazing wedding venue. The Thrumpton Hall events staff, Paula, Lynn and Nancy looked after all of the guests and even got to know them all individually by name, and nothing was too much trouble. The owner of the Hall, Miranda Seymour (who is also successful book author) met with the PhD researchers over breakfast which was lovely. The food was delicious and was cooked to order and delivered to the kitchen each day specifically for our event. All specific dietary requirements were catered for. In terms of planning for the event, Paula made sure every detail was covered to ensure our writing retreat went smoothly.

In a nutshell, I cannot recommend this venue enough. Truly excellent and beautiful and thank you, not just for a great event, but for great memories too!

I had a privilege to film wedding in Thrumpton Hall and I must say this is a fantastic place.

Beautiful in every season, I'm constantly finding new thing I love about it <3

Attended a friends wedding here on Sunday 27th August 2017. A civil ceremony followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony. An absolutely beautiful setting - perfect weather and fantastic staff.

A very special place with wonderful caring staff, beautiful scenery and a gorgeous historic house

A friend recommended Thrumpton Hall to us and we went along to a wedding fayre. We are from Derby and had not heard of Thrumpton but it was easy to find and a short distance from East Midlands airport. The village is lovely but the hall and grounds is defiantly the hidden gem..... We fell in love with it and on the 19th May 2014 we got married at Thrumpton church and had our reception at Thrumpton hall.



The day was amazing with all the guests commenting on how lovely the venue, catering and villages were.



A special thanks from us both to Miranda as she made us feel very welcome on her home, also to Paula and JC for helping us to plan our perfect day.



The staff were very pleasant and helpful and children were catered for all day..



We would not hesitate to recommending Thrumpton hall and the village church
