Tiger taxis Cwmbran... What can I say,,I know I'm a valued customer for god knows at least 14 years or more.. Uve seen me grow n my children grow,,UV put up n seen me thru the best times of my year's.. N by god uv scolded me when I've been at my worst....in the time we've all bonded,,school runs,hospital trips or just day to day,,,, last nite i dropped my fone in a cab after a manic shift...I was beside myself,,Bev ringing rob,me crying all because of the very raw loss of mum in may whom also was a much loved customer of tiger..kyms mamma,,badger's mede...her pics and everything was on there,,all staff rallied round beyond there normal jobs..to ensure I've got my fone,,,I broke down in tears and cannot thank the staff tonight for ensuring I got my fone back,, this is y I stick to tiger taxis..thank u isnt enuf.....if anybody knows a tiger driver please tag n sharev xx

Will never use this company again. Have been a loyal customer for years but the last 3 times I have used they have turned up half an hour late.



You’re lucky if they can even answer the phone these days!



Final straw was trying to book one to get to Penn fest and they tried to charge me double the price at 3pm in the afternoon.



Went with an Uber in the end and will be using them in future.



Tiger taxi has gone to s**t

We order a taxi with 4 hours notice last night to pick us up from PennFest last night at 11:15 the driver refused to meet us at the pick up point. Instead we walked 45 minutes through pitch black lanes to the pub down the road. Once we arrived the driver wasn't there and every time we called the driver he would hang up. Then decided to call the base and they hung up. Tried on another number they answered until they found out who we were then hung up! 1 hour after we had booked the taxi for we had to phone for another company any wait! Honestly the worst service. Shan't recommend you to anyone! AVOID USING THIS COMPANY

Use them all the time, however today got a disgustingly rude driver asking me to get my licence out ? I only asked to be trasported quickly to train station as the driver took more than "the driver will be there in 10 minutes". Then claims he's been waiting 20 minutes for me ?. Fix up..

Taxi driver was very rude. Wanted all of my card details including the three digits at the back of my card. Said this was 'standard' method of paying with card. Taxi driver became very rude and asset when I explained I was not comfratable with this. Tried to speak with the manager who shouted at me on loudspeaker in their reception that this was standard. Wanted to make a complaint via email, I was not given an email nor the name of the taxi driver.

Parked on the pavement outside Ali's Grill at 5pm, corner of Suffield Road and West End Street blocking the view of traffic coming up from Desborough Ave. totally illegal whilst he chatted away inside the shop. Keeps happening, sort it out

Ordered for 06:20 now 07:20. And driver has been 10mins away for quite a long time. Think this will be my last Tiger booking.

Never use this company! Over an hour late for a pre-paid pick up, will not reply to my emails, no refund, rude staff and driven home by a very dangerous driver! Should not have a license!

Just left my partner and I stranded in Marlow at 12 at night.

Booked over email to be picked up at 11pm.

Called at 11.05 to see where our taxis was, they told us 5 minutes.

After it still hadn’t turned up called again to be told out taxi had been taken by someone else. We had not even received a phone call to tell us our taxi was here.

After asking when they would get a taxi to us, as they had given our taxi away, they said it was not their fault and a taxi couldn’t be with us for a further 45 minutes. We haven’t received a call to say that taxi is there either so assume that was never going to turn up either!

Absolute useless bunch of liars.

If there was a -5 I would fully give it, can’t believe the awful service at this terrible place. Yes there was a tiny little bit of snow tonight and after telling us they were closed I rang a different company who was still working because the snow was not that bad and you could still clearly see the road. However after telling us there was no taxis they magically arranged 3 taxis for people after us, how ridiculous they wouldn’t give us one?! The guy who was at the desk was disgustingly rude and told us to “get out the fucking office” and when I asked why customers after us suddenly managed to have taxis arranged for them the answer was “you went to a different company so fuck you” even though the guy at the desk told us to go to someone else. Do not use this company if you want good service!!

If I could give one star I would! Order a taxi to take me to town turns up 45 minutes later, then asked to go to the back of mcds to be told that ways got traffic il drop you off at Argos.... NOO your not my friend giving me a lift your a company so il just say that it's long giving you all your fare ����

I took a sabbatical from Tiger after continued failures to arrive on time... My decision to give them another try this morning reminded me that my decision was correct. Three phone calls after the various ETAs passed by, I was told "he's 50 seconds away". ?!!!!?!

And then he took the wrong turn and drove in the opposite direction of where I was waiting. This was despite a "we'll be there" when I booked it for 0645. Very disappointing. Missed train, late for work.....



Incidentally, or ironically - depending on how you look at it, a late night booking last night for a taxi 'in five mins from the station' was met with "ok, but it might be 10mins..." That was fine, expectations were managed.

And then he was there sooner than 5mins. Go figure!



Tiger's number is now removed from my phone. They might be cheap by comparison to other firms, but they're unreliable and misleading and that costs far more.

I booked a Taxi online - I got quotes from a few companies most came to £65 - £70, Tiger Taxis quoted £60 so I decided to go with you as it was £5 cheaper than some of the others.



When the taxi arrived suddenly the price was £80!! more than what any of the other company quoted by a large amount.



They claimed that I booked from Reading to Reading - but I showed them proof that I clearly I booked to go to Bracknell and come back from Reading. He kept telling me that I booked Reading to Reading despite me showing the written proof on the email.



Eventually he agreed to lowering the £80 to £75 which is still far more expensive than any of the quotes I received, but by this point it was too late to book someone else as I would be late for my event, so I really feel conned and this certainly feels like entrapment.



I hope Tiger Taxis will look into this issue for me, otherwise I might have to see what my options are for taking this further.

First I want to emphasise how lovely our Taxi Driver Syed, was and how much of gentlemen he was ensuring we got home safe.

As for the office staff, its impossible to be more frustrated and irritated than I am currently. We informed the man on the desk of our stops, and they were repeated back to us, however when we got in the taxi these were incorrect and would have resulted in us being charged more than double the amount quoted. When we rang the office they firstly told us not to pay anymore than we originally were quoted, but then insisted we had to pay the 25, or they would rather us walk home alone than honour the fare they have quoted us. I will not be using Tiger Taxis again and will not only not recommend the service, but will actively warn people who bring up their name about this situation which appears just a scheme to ensure rides and then generate extra profit.

Driver sped off before I had put my seatbelt on (I was in middle seat) and when I asked him to stop so I could buckle up he refused! I asked him to stop again and he did abruptly and then once I was done he made a sarcastic comment 'can we go now'! Then he proceeded to drive way over the safe speed limit all the way from Marlow to Beaconsfield and then to Wycombe. He was going down the London road at 65mph!! Awful and unsafe service - will never use again!

Daylight robbery!!

Partner got a taxi from Wycombe to Prestwood which they charged £15, 2 friends were gonna jump in the taxi when he got home to be taken to Holmer Green and Hazlemere.

My partner paid the driver £30 to cover most of the cost. My friends were then charged another £15 so the total cost was £45!! Disgusting!!!

I won't be using again.

After booking a week ahead for a mini bus for (9 children and one adult- party on a bus to Rush) I also rang up an hour before we needed, just to confirm the appointment- ONLY TO BE CALLED AT SCHOOL END TIME ! "We are sending two vehicles and they will be with you 1/2h after the time you booked it for" ????errr sorry what??? one adult and 9x 6 year olds spread between two vehicles???? And no booster seats!!! They send a car good for 4 people! Great my booking was an inconvenience ... I had a car, and parents that would have driven if asked I asked them - THE MINIBUS WAS MEANT TO BE AN EXPERIANCE FOR THE CHILDREN ... So I got in the cab with fours seats A boosters from school as none came in the car! paid £15 ! sent children with other parents with booster seats (NOTE:I could have driven over myself , I couldn't as phone call was at 3.15 when 9 children were picked up from school and couldn't get back to my car as I walked to school for the mini bus) - don't take booking of you can't deliver !

Absolute disgrace ! I booked a taxi with Tiger taxis to go to a funeral and the taxi never came to pick me up! After two follow-up calls to find out where the taxi was, I was told it was on its way and would be with me within a few minutes. After further follow-up calls, Tiger taxis just put the phone down on me several times! Don’t use this firm, they are untrustworthy and incompetent!! They aren’t even worthy of the 1*.
