What an amazing little cafe, they have some absolutely amazing pastries, so I will return to sample the ones I haven't managed today. The cinnamon croissant monster.....delicious!

We visited Tough Mary's for the first time today. We sat in for breakfast. Which was very nice. All the time we were there the door was constantly opening and closing as customers came and went. The sourdough bread we purchased before leaving was delicious. As were the cakes and pastries. To sum up Tough Mary's is small but perfectly formed. Well worth a visit.

This place is great. Everything about it screams artisan/rustic/quality. Great value too.

These girls obviously have a passion for bread. There are creative flavours that want you wanting more. The bread keeps well and does not harden over night. This is what real bread is Britain! If all you've ever known is white cotton wool like supermarket bread, well than you're missing out. Good bread makes waking up for breakfast a pleasure.

The bread and pastries in this beautiful little bakery are so skilfully handmade - we had a cinnamon croissant roll which was delicious and took home a seeded sourdough. The flavour and texture of the bread is simply perfect. The BEST in Nottingham. Amazing!!

The best croissants I have ever had anywhere and I was a director of a French company based in Paris for many years. The sourdough is also second to none. This place is in a different league to anywhere else in Nottingham.

Superb smoked salmon, cream cheese and rocket bagel.

Not started my coffee yet, but frankly, I don't care, because the brownie is SO GOOD AND CHOCOLATE-Y!

My 1st trip to the Bakehouse, nice atmosphere as soon as walk in. Great selection of breads and cakes.

Got myself a lovely wholemeal sourdough and chedder/paprika sourdough for £5.50p and well worth it

Love this bright yellow shop! Love how they have different things every day, though I'm really missing the cinnamon monster croissant rolls! Perfect place to stop by for a break between work or a treat at the start of the morning. Their filter coffee is great too!

I'm really quite excited about the current revolution in food, in particular the fact that really good, artisanal, bread is now being produced in the city (Nottingham), by people with an ethical approach to doing business. In my opinion Tough Mary's currently offer the best bread in the city.

I went in for the first time today. All the cakes and bread looked delicious but I chose a peanut, chocolate and date slice. It was absolutely amazing -gooey and rich and so yummy! Friendly staff too. I will definitely be back!

I literally live for my days off when I can get to TMB and get some amazing sourdough. The other breaded treats are amazing too!

Couldn't resist the call of this bright yellow bakery today and we weren't disappointed, kids had a doughnut and we will be back for the ice cream doughnuts for sure. Took a white sourdough home for lunch which was yummy.

Cinnamon roll absolutely delicious, salted caramel slice ummmm, also bought a sourdough for home and it too was delicious you really must try this bakery wow. Great friendly people too, had a lovely chat about baking. Open just four days, good luck go it's worth the short walk.
