About Treasured Ceremonies

Welcome to Treasured Ceremonies. I am an accredited celebrant in South Wales. If you've something to celebrate, you're in the right place, Congratulations!

Treasured Ceremonies Description

What is a celebrant?

From early days of humanity, we have felt a need to celebrate life events with rituals and symbolic gestures, creating ceremonies to mark big occasions. Over time many of these have become formalised, for example into weddings, civil partnerships and christenings and naming ceremonies.

Very often, at the heart of these ceremonies are the making of vows in the presence of family and friends. Having a professional celebrant means that your ceremony will be exactly that – professional from start to finish. I have trained with Civil Ceremonies Limited to become an accredited celebrant, which means we can create a ceremony together that is meaningful and unique to you. There are any number of life events which you may want to celebrate, from the birth of a child, significant birthdays, marriage, civil partnership, anniversaries, the joining of two families through marriage…the list is endless.

Your ceremony can be held wherever you want it; in the heart of the Welsh countryside, at home, in your local restaurant, in a tipi on a cliff overlooking the sea, in a woodland dell…wherever you like!

This probably isn't the biggest, brashest Valentine's Day Post you'll see, but it's sent with love. Visiting my son in Scotland tomorrow, and I must admit my mind's on other things!

It's always good to know the funeral ceremony has chimed with the next of kin.

User

That was kind! It's great to have the opportunity to do something for the village, so (not being shy!) I called the bingo for our primary school find raiser. I've just been given these as a thank you☺

User

So, if my bride had this veil, would the whole ceremony continue with the balloons attached? Or would bride and groom deliver their vows on helium???extreme #yourdayyourway 🙄😂😍

We used Somerset willow for my mum's coffin, and I've officiated many funerals with willow coffins. This looks like a lovely, ethical business, with 5% of the profit from each coffin going to The Woodland Trust.

Where do I start???

Helen was the celebrant for my daughters naming day and all I can say is wow!! I could not have asked for a more perfect celebration for my little princess. Helen was warm friendly and professional and in a short space of time learnt the little things that are unique to my family. She conducted the ceremony in a manner that allowed us to feel relaxed and comfortable and reflected us so well. All our guest commented on what a beautiful day it was and how lovely the ceremony was. I am so grateful to have met Helen and been able to give my daughter the perfect naming day. I 100% recommend this lovely lady to be the celebrant of your occasion she is amazing at what she does xxx

We can't thank Helen enough. We wanted something unique for our wedding and she gave us just that. Not only is Helen kind, patient, and warm, but also funny, creative, and full of joy - all of which came through during our ceremony. She helped us develop our ideas into a ceremony that felt true to us as a couple and genuinely reflected the love felt in the room. Helen's generosity and natural ability to connect with those around her make her an ideal celebrant. We are so thankful that we chose Helen to guide us the through the best day of our lives. Our guests are still talking about it!

On Saturday I had the pleasure to witness my first ever naming day by yourself, I have to say I was very impressed, what a lovely service, very funny at times as well and lovely words and promises made to little Harriet

Last weekend Helen performed our wedding service at Nantyronen Station on the Vale of Rheidol Railway. We always knew we wanted the traditional structure of a wedding but with our own unique spin on it. After just a Skype call and one meet up, Helen created a perfect service. It was witty, fun, romantic and personal. Helen is so kind and thoughtful in her approach and is just brimming with love and joy, you can't help but smile and laugh in her presence. Thank you so much Helen for listening to us and making our ceremony so very special, we (and our guests) loved it!

It's been 4 weeks since our wedding, it's flown by! Helen was the celebrant at our ceremony and it was perfect! We got on so well with her right from first contact , she seemed to 'get us' straight away! We didn't want anything religious at our wedding and wanted it all about us not a script that is used over and over with just a change of names ... Helen wrote our script full of humour love emotion and it was everything we could have hoped for! We added in sand pouring and hand fasting and the whole ceremony was just so awesome we still talk about it now with laughter and such happy fond memories. We highly recommend Helen for any family occasion needing a focal point, structure and someone to pull you all together without religion overshadowing the love you have to share with family and friends . Make your day about you!!

User

It will be an outstanding success! Will you be doing humanist funerals as well?

Helen was the celebrant at my father's funeral and did a fantastic job. She was always quick to answer questions, respond to suggestions and went out of her way to make the best celebration of my father's life with the stories we gave her. If you're looking for a kind and professional celebrant - I can wholeheartedly recommend Helen.

User

Helen was amazing and helped us to tailor our wedding ceremony on the beach at Penbryn which helped to make it personal and perfect for us. Thank you. Xx
