Beyond the Barricade 6 September 2019, 8pm Tickets From: £22.50... Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough
The UK’s longest running Musical Theatre Concert Tour features past principal performers from Les Miserables. Delivering over two hours of the best of Broadway and the West End, and of course ending with a stunning finale from Les Mis. The concert features David Fawcett (Valjean) Andy Reiss ( Enjolras & Resident Director for the National Tour of Les Miserables) Katie Leeming (Eponine) and Poppy Tierney (Cosette), together with a live band who capture the feel of the original orchestrations of the chosen musicals. To this day every musical note is still played and sung live – very rare indeed. Beyond the Barricade gives musical theatre songs a bold concert format treatment – but with the conviction and intention to deliver the material as if the audience are watching the original performance. This incredible concert is now in its 19th successive year.

I do like going to the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough

I have been going there since I was very young in the Wendy Foster shows and seeing the Saturday afternoon kids club films

I have been seeing films like The Chronicles of Narnia:The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Postman Pat The Movie and The Greatest Showman

I have been seeing shows like the Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society production of Half A Sixpence on Wednesday 5th July 2017

I like having snacks like sweet popcorn, haribo starmix, mini chedder's and fruit pastilles and drinks like fruit shoot orange

I like the steating in the audiotorium

User

At the risk of repeating myself as already made favourable comments on f.b. arriving at this Theatre was great. The moment i walked in and onto the stage it just had a superb feel about it and somehow could feel you were in for a great night. Everything felt right and you could feel it was a cared for and well run, and managed venue. Superb atmosphere and that's just in the afternoon and also had recently the benefit of huge refurbishment. Everything in order with clean d/rooms and green room with clean and full facility's for making hot drinks.

User

Absolutely stunning show from The Floyd Effect!!.

Great venue, pleasant and very helpful staff!

Really enjoyed the evening. Looking forward to coming back again!

User

Went to see Lady Chatterley's Lover and really enjoyed the size of the venue and the facilities, parked in Kwik Fit as I didn't know they had parking but we live and learn. Will be going again.

User

Went to see the 70's show last night and enjoyed it .... Well what I saw of it anyway. I understand people like to get up and have a dance, but I find it unfair when I have paid to watch something that I can't see because someone two rows in front has to stand up and dance in front of their seats. I think dancing should be kept to aisles only. There are a lot of people who pay to see these shows who are disabled and are unable to stand up, and I paid for a seat which I wanted to remain in to watch the show.
