At Tropic, we are actively committed to producing our products and running our brand with integrity.

Natural
All of our products are from natural origins and we use only premium purely plant derived ingredients. We never use paraffin, petrolatum, petro-chemicals, parabens or any other synthetic ingredients that not only have no nutritional benefit for your skin, but have also shown to have a long term damaging impact on your skin and health.
Our products are free of the most common allergens such as artificial colour and fragrance, however, some people may find they are sensitive to essential oils which are contained in some of our products. Any substance, natural or chemical, is capable of triggering sensitivities - some of which you may not even know you had! We always list the complete ingredient listings next to the products we stock, in plain English, so if you know you are sensitive to certain ingredients you can check whether or not they are in our product.
Please note that natural products can often trigger a 'detox reaction' or a 'healing response' for the first few days of use; you may notice increased redness in the skin or outbreaks. In most cases this is a normal & healthy response and is an indication that your skin is responding to the therapeutic properties of the product. Animal Testing
We never do it, and test only on ourselves.
While some products carry labels claiming that their brand is ‘not tested on animals’ or is ‘against animal testing’, these are often confusing and do not guarantee that the product and its ingredients are actually free from animal testing. Only the Leaping Bunny can provide peace of mind. Products bearing the Leaping Bunny mark are certified ‘cruelty free’ by Cruelty Free International under the internationally-recognised Humane Cosmetics Standard. This stipulates that no animal testing is conducted or commissioned for finished cosmetic products or ingredients by the company, its laboratories or its suppliers after a fixed cut-off date.
The Leaping Bunny certification is unrivaled, as it requires each company to open its processes to independent audit throughout its supply chain, to ensure that it adheres to its animal testing policy and the Standard’s strict criteria. Animal Products
We are Vegan Society Approved - we don’t believe in interfering with animals so we use no lanolin, gelatin or any other animal derived products.

Genetic Engineering
None of our products contain genetically engineered or modified organisms.

Environment
We care about our environment and try to reduce our carbon footprint where ever we can, and we aim to be as green as possible in terms of our packaging, our waste disposal, and we also use sustainable ingredients in our products.
