What an amazing place! I came with .y daughters a few weeks ago and they LOVED it. We came back without the kids yesterday and I got so much out of it. The brothers who run it are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the birds are therapy for the soul. It's my happy place!

User

This place is absolutely fantastic. The variety of birds is brilliant and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I have always wanted to see a hyacinth macaw in person and the ones here are beautiful. It’s a real privilege to be able to interact with all the birds here, I absolutely fell I love with one of the galahs and it was so hard to leave her there.

User

This place is a hidden gem! Pleasantly surprised that the admission fees were so low for such an incredible hands on experience. Never seen anything like this before but I'm so glad we went, will definitely be becoming regular customers! The staff were also extremely friendly, approachable and educated on the birds - I can't wait to come back!

User

This is such a great place to visit. The entry fee is very affordable and the birds are amazing. You can feed and even hold them (if they let you, of course). I will definitely visit again.

User

I went with all my kids, grandson and son-in-law for a mother's day treat, was my first time there and Ive got to say we wasn't disappointed at all!! Kids all loved it. Was a great admission price, and loved how we could interact with the birds, can't wait to go back!! I would wear some old clothes and no buttons or pullstrings with beads tho as the birds like a nibble on them lol absolutely fantastic! Thank you for the experience

User

I just love coming here. A great day out and wonderful staff so dedicated to the birds. Just wish I had brought more grapes, they were really going down a treat and we ran out by the time we got to the end. Mango was a real scene stealer and just wouldn't leave my husband. A fantastic day out. I have recommended it as a day out to all my friends.

User

Had a fabulous time today. Really friendly staff and we definitely made some new friends and new memories, thank you very much. You will be seeing us again. Great value for money.

User

Fantastic place to go with little ones or for grown up adventures!

Great 3 tier party packages too which I can fully recommend.

Birds are happy and a joy to spend time with!

Just need more stock in the shop as the kids have nothing left to buy now. More bird variety on the soft toys pls :)

User

Fantastic place and birds are so happy despite the cold. Extremely surprised at how gentle and friendly the birds are. The food in the cafe was excellent and the cafe spotless with friendly, polite and professional staff.

User

Fantastic place 100%recommend staff are lovely ...its clean and friendly. My 1 and 3 year old loved this experience. We did spend 50£ in the shop tho. Entrance fee is more than reasonable.

User

Fantastic day out. Loads of info for prospective bird owners and bird lovers but an equally great day out for general animal lovers.

Really interactive and all the animals are really well cared for.

Had the best time today

User

Fantastic day out for all the family! Will definitely be coming back soon. Parrots are amazing and free to fly round. Great play area for the kids and good coffee shop that do hot meals. Would highly recommend for a day out.

User

Fantastic afternoon out with the kids. Loved feeding all the birds and getting to hold them to :) would recommend wellies though as my converse didn't make it in all the mud :') great photo opportunities too and a lovely way to teach the kids about different bird breeds. Staff were also very helpful and polite.

User

Easily the best tropical bird Sanctuary I have ever been too was terrific to walk round and see aviaries open with birds flying free. The final Perch is a paradise for any bird lover. I will be back next time I am in the area

User

Been here before, it’s a lovely atmosphere and it was perfect weather yesterday which was a bonus! had a massive breakfast with a free tea and coffee which was lovely! the gift shop could be more stocked but I brought a parrot key ring which was cute! great for the price and I love parrots so heaven for me!

User

An absolutely fantastic place to visit, so cheap to get in when you compare to other places like it. Plenty to do for all ages, there's a brilliant play area for children and a lovely cafe. We've been today in the rain and still had a wonderful time, we'll be visiting again very soon.

User

Amazing place, a hidden gem! I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. Hand feeding the birds is a brilliant experience!!

User

Absolutely amazing place. The entrance fee is more than reasonable as are the prices for treat bags if you haven't brought your own. After our first visit I opted for a monthly sponsorship, which is amazing value. Even going once a month on that is worth it, although I take my daughter several times as she loves seeing the birds.

It's wonderful to see how dedicated the staff are to helping the birds thrive. They're always ready to tell you more about them and we love learning more about all the individual birds and getting to know them. It's lovely to see all the individual personalities, although I have to admit Zoey is a firm favorite of mine (don't tell the others).

The restaurant is also very reasonably priced and the food is tasty; even my picky husband enjoyed his burger! The play area looks great too, I'm sure my daughter will enjoy it once she's old enough to go on.

User

A dream come true ! Genuinely never been to a place so dedicated to not only giving a first class visitor experience but just as committed to giving ill treated birds a fabulous new lease of life alongside a fabulous breeding and rehabilitation programme! It fulfilled a personal dream in interacting with species with which I never thought I would have the opportunity to do so.

It’s such a shame I live over 3 hours away as I would be applying for my dream job in a heartbeat ! Keep up the fantastic work! We will see you again in the very near future !
