Bowls Update: Hasn’t been the best of weeks for UTBC, after a narrow defeat on Tuesday night away to Willowfield, the mid week Team followed that up with 2 points away to Ballywalter, always a tough away game, which was a close run affair until the last couple of ends. Then Joel, Simon and Marks dream of PGL Triples glory was ended last night in the Quarter Finals against a very tough Ewarts Triple, good luck to the Ewarts boys in the next round. So the A and B Team will be looking to wipe last week from memory, and get a couple of much needed wins today. The A Team are at home to Dunbarton B 2.00pm start, all support will be very welcome. And the B Team have the long trek away to Downpatrick. Good luck to all those playing 👍🏻

Bowls Update: Well after a handy win in the 1st Rd of the Irish Cup on Saturday. The A Team where away to Willowfield Bowling Club in a tasty league fixture. Where the game went down to the last end, last bowl and the last drop of sunlight.... (nail biting) and unfortunately Ulster Transport where on the end of a 2 shot defeat. What an enjoyable day, can’t speak highly enough of the fellow bowlers from Ierne, as was last year with our friends from the south, the game was played in great spirits and everyone had a great day across the green, (which is what the game is all about). Ulster Transport in this occasion came out on top, well played Ierne Bowling Club, and good luck Transport in the next round.

It’s that time of year again......Trophy Hunting time!!!🏆 Today the Senior Team welcome Ierne Bowling Club in the 1st Round of the Irish Cup, 1.00pm start. All support is very welcome. It’s the 2nd year in a row that Ulster Transport has welcomed a team from Dublin in the Irish Cup, last years game was great craic and enjoyed by all, and I’ve no doubt that this years will follow suit. (Hopefully the result will go the same 😉) Good luck lads, let’s kick start our season 👍🏻

Well done to our members and whiteabbey PTA who organised and took part in a strictly at the movies event last night. They raised £23000 in aid of the NI children’s hospice. And a fabulous night was had by all. Well done to everyone involved
