United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust provides a wide range of healthcare services delivered by more than 7, 500 highly trained staff and volunteers.

Each year we receive £399 million to provide patient services delivered to patients in Lincolnshire.

We invest around £12 million each year in improving our clinical services by replacing and upgrading our medical equipment, modernising our estate and facilities and improving our information and technology infrastructure.

These pages are to keep you informed about the latest news and updates taking place across the Trust. You can also share your own experiences and feedback with others. Please be aware that anything that you post on our page will be visible to everyone who accesses this page.

For media enquiries please contact the Communications team based at Lincoln County Hospital on (01522) 573986 or email communications@ulh. nhs. uk. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

For information out of office hours phone Lincoln County Hospital switchboard on (01522) 512512 and ask to speak to the on-call director - if your call is urgent the media officer will be contacted on your behalf.

How to contact the PALS team
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a confidential, on-the-spot, advice and support service for patients, relatives and carers. PALS act independently when handling patient and family concerns, liaising with staff, managers, or relevant organisations, to negotiate immediate or prompt solutions. PALS will not investigate complaints but PALS will inform and support people who wish to use the NHS complaints procedure.

Whilst we are always pleased to receive comments in appreciation of our services, we acknowledge that we do not always get it right. We treat complaints seriously and want to ensure that we learn from them, taking action to improve our services. If you wish to make a comment or complaint you can email complaintsulh@ulh. nhs. uk or complete the online complaint form.

Thanks to cervical screening (the smear test) and earlier treatment over 5,000 lives are saved every year. Screening looks for cell changes which, if untreated, could go on to develop into cancer. It only takes 5 minutes. @JoTrust #screeningsaveslives
