We are on the " ONE SHOW ", BBC1 Tuesday 14th August 7pm.

Thanks to everyone who turned up last night, it was a night that will live long in the memory & just a tad busy!!. The programme made on the evening by The BBC, will be shown on the " One Show " sometime in August, we will let people know the exact date when they let us know. 2018 is our 70th year since the shop opened in 1948. To celebrate we are having a bit of a party. The national TV will be there and musical entertainment will be provided by the country's finest George Formby impersonator, Paul casperooni aka " The George Formby Experience". Good Friday...we open at 5 pm.

Just to confirm, we will be open our normal hours this weekend(Fri 9th & Sat 10th March). The snow has all gone now thank goodness.

WEATHER UPDATE...We have taken the decision that due to the heavy snow, with more forecast on Friday, the shop will NOT be opening this coming weekend(2/3rd March). Sorry but our rural location & the fact that most of our customers travel, means that the weather has left us little option. We hope that things will improve and that we will be able to open the following weekend as normal.

SHOP RE-OPEN...We are now open again following the winter shutdown..spring can't be far away now!.

Christmas & New Year Closing. As normal, we will be closed after we finish at 1.30pm on Saturday 23rd December 2017. The shop will RE-OPEN on Friday 26th January 2018 @ 5pm. Our other shop in Scotter (next door to the Co-op), Clarke's Fish Shop, will re-open on Thursday 11th January 2018 @ 4.30pm. Their normal opening hours are : Thurs 4.30 - 7.30 Fri 12 noon- 1.30 & 4.30-7.30 Sat 12 noon - 1.30 & 4.30-7.30.

The shop will be CLOSED on Friday 9th June & Saturday 10th June. Our other shop "Clarke's Fish Shop" in Scotter( next door to the Co-op) will be open as normal(Thurs 4.30-7.30, Fri 12-1.30pm& 4.30-7.30 pm, Sat 12-1.30pm & 4.30-7.30pm). Upton will re-open at 5pm on Friday 16th June.

Just to confirm, that today(Good Friday), we are open our usual hours(5pm-8.30pm). We are also open Sat 11am-1.30pm.

Friday 17th March & Saturday 18th March, we are very sorry that due to essential maintenance on the range, the shop is CLOSED. Our other shop in Scotter(Clarke's Fish Shop- next door to the new Co-op) will be open as normal ( hours- Thurs 4.30pm-7.30pm. Fri 12 pm lunch - 1.30 pm, & 4.30 pm-7.30 pm, Sat 12pm lunch-1.30pm & 4.30 pm - 7.30 pm. Upton will re-open the following Friday, the 24th March(normal hours Fri & Sat). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

You may want to watch BBC2 7PM Tuesday 14th March. There is a programme about Fish & Chips and there may well be a guest appearance during the show of our " Upton " Fish Shop!!.

We re-open this coming Friday night(27th jan) at 5pm. We are now back to our regular opening times.

NEWS (12 December 2016) Xmas & New Year Closing Unbelievably, it is that time of the year again, the years just seem to go by faster & faster!!. As is normal practice at new year, the shop will be closed for a few weeks. The fishing fleet traditionally take a couple of weeks off at this time of the year, so there is no fresh fish available, only frozen. We will be OPEN as normal up to and INCLUDING Friday 23rd December. We will then be closed(NOT open xmas eve lunchtime)until... Friday 27th January 2017. We will RE-OPEN 5.00PM Friday 27th January 2017. Our other shop, Clarke's in Scotter(next door to the new Co-op) will be open New years eve weekend(Frozen only that week) and will then be closed, reopening a week earlier than Upton on Thursday 19th January 2017(back on fresh).
