Pixie popped in for her post op check after being spayed recently. Super chilled!

Anyone missing a heavily pregnant torti cat from near the practice (Rutland st / McDonald's area)? She's been brought into the practice, no microchip or collar. Please let us know if you think she's yours or if you recognise her!

This is the grey and white female cat who was brought to us earlier this week. She seems to be enjoying life in the practice at the moment but really we want to get her home! Anyone in Awsworth recognise her? Please be in touch if you do! :)

We've had a white and grey female stray cat brought into us from Barlow drive, Awsworth. Shes been wearing a purple collar for a few days in a bid to find her owner but no luck so far :( could this be your / your neighbours cat? Please ask about and try get her home! Thanks :)

Opie came in today for his 2nd vacc and took out BSIL! I think he looks the spitting image of Sullie from the other day?! 😍

Rosie and Pepper had their second vaccines this week and were super well behaved! 😍

Handsome Hector came to see us today for his second L4 vaccine. Emily assessed his body condition score - this is a scale we use very often to assess the physical state of an animal - from 1 to 5, 1 is emaciated (very thin) and 5 is very obese 🐖 Hector is in perfect body condition (3) - he's fit, healthy, has a lovely little waist and his ribs are easily feel-able. Great job Hector 😁 (and of course, GREAT job Hector's mum and dad!!!) 😍

Roadworks!!! 🚗🚘🚦 Starting tomorrow, for 2 weeks there is going to be roadworks on Heanor road. If you're travelling this way to us, please be sure to leave a little extra time so you can arrive at your appointments on time 😊

Here's Harley looking very pleased to be given the all clear today! Poor Harley came in very poorly last week and had to have emergency surgery to remove a corn on the cob 🌽 that had got well and truly lodged and was blocking his intestines :( He's now recovering really well at home, and is under strict orders to not steal any more bbq food!! Cheeky monkey 🐵

ceri and the girls helped and supported me so much this week with the emergency c section for my girl boo and her babies. friendly and there advise is a million percent from me. they kept our kitties going strong. thanks everyone at vets for pets ilkeston I'd highly recommend here . I wouldn't go anywhere else

Yeserday (24/09/2016) I had to rush my guinea pig Chutney in as he was very poorly, I wasn't registered or anything but they saw to him as quickly as they could and unfortunately I had to make the decision to have him put down. Everyone from the receptionist to the nurse to the vet were all so helpfull and sympathetic towards both of us which really made a difference, I also didn't have my wallet with me so they were absolutely fine with me paying whenever I was ready to do so, which I did this morning as I changed my mind about having him cremated so I was able to get my little boy back in the box I took him in to give him the burial that he deserves.

Wow I'm so surprised!! I rang up for a little advice and ended up going down and meeting the staff and they was so friendly and caring I definitely know my pet is in 100% loving care when with them. Thank you once again:-)

Would highly recommend. Very helpful, caring and even the receptionist was able to offer advice on our puppy. Have dealt with 4 different members of staff so far and each one was professional yet friendly and made our puppies first injections as stress free for him as possible

What a fantastic veterinary practice! I have found the staff to be incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate on every occasion, whether it be a routine appointment, surgery or end of life care. I would highly recommend the practice to anyone looking for a quality service for their pet. Thank you Ceri and the team for doing such a great job of looking after my motley crew!

Visited a couple of times now with my kitten Barnaby. We purchased the starter pack and will be getting the vaccines for life package when he goes for his second injection. Our boy has needed antibiotic and painkiller injections as well as tablets and ear drops. Not only are the prices great but we are really happy with the care he has received so far. We will be visiting regularly for check ups and jabs due to the packages we have purchased and would recommend them to other pet owners.

Took my kitten (pablo) in yesterday, for a check up needed flea and worm treatment and his first vaccinations the vets and nurses were amazing. Toady he was sick after i gave him his medication and started foaming at the mouth got told to bring him down asap the vet/nurse who helped me was amazing and i can not thank her enough for what she did ��

They were fantastic caring for our beautiful Molly Moo, even right at the end when it was so awful they showed such compassion and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend them xx

The staff at vets for pets are so kind and caring especially the receptionist who worked Saturday 14th may sorry forgot your name but when we had to do the horrible thing of putting our dog to sleep she was there to offer care and compassion! So thank you to her and the other staff! Was lovely to receive a card too!

Outstanding care from michelle and team can't recommend highly enough my dog tommy was castrated here and from start to finish communication and standard of care was outstandig thank you for putting me at ease and treating tommy with so much love and care won't go anywhere else from now and will use for all my customers pets when needed xx thanks xx

Lovely vets been with my dog kookie. Vet was so kind explained everything. Pain killers given and kookie is feeling better. Friendly staff and helpful thanks for helping my baby �

I swapped to Vets4pets about a year ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I made. My vet has gone beyond what many would have done for my dogs. (At times I've felt like I've been a member of the staff I've been there so much).

Such a caring bunch and a special Thankyou to Ceri for all her help, patience, determination and professionalism

Had to take tilly today (sunday) i rang them to see if they would she my cat as she could'nt stop sneezing, i have to take her back tomorrow if she is no better which she isn't to have a camera up her nose as she may have somthing in it, the staff are great and i will be switching to these for al my pets

Had to have my dog put to sleep last week the vet and nurses were lovely very caring and understanding didn't rush us at all a very difficult day but made a little easier by the caring staff.. Thank you

Fantastic service, took 1 dog for treatment and 1 who can't be alone without his big brother. Both were treated fantastically and made to feel welcome. Massive thanks especially to Bethany for her advice, knowledge and friendly service, including clearing up after one had a accident.

Cant recommend highly enough, after the care and compassion shown over the very recent sudden loss of our precious dog Jasper, even sending a condolence card to us, thank you all x

Absolutely amazing staff. We brought our cat in at the beginning of January after getting shot in the leg. We phoned up and rushed her down and were seen straight away. We had lots of visits to treat her wound and to get her better and everyone who works there was absolute stars. They all wanted to know how she was getting on and wanted a fuss of her. She's 100% better now and loving being outside again. We've recommended to our neighbours and friends as we couldn't wish for better service.

Had a first aid class there to night was very good would recommend
