We are delighted to inform you that Ellen and the team will be moving to Ellen's other surgery Rushden Vets4Pets. Ellen will join Tom, the other JVP, at Rushden Vets4Pets with a larger team and an expanded range of services from Thursday May 30th 8:30am. From Wednesday May 29th at 7pm, the Wellingborough Vets4Pets premises will be closing.
We would love for you to join Ellen and the team at her other surgery in Rushden just 4 miles away located in Pets at Home in the Crown W...ay Retail Park across from the Rushden Lake Shopping Centre.
All registered clients will have a posted letter to inform them of Ellen and the team's move to Rushden.
All patient histories will be transferred to the Rushden surgery. If your pet has Complete Care, they will be able to continue their Plan at the Rushden Vets4Pets Surgery. Pets with Flea and Worm pack or Vac4Life can continue receiving care at Rushden Vets4Pets.
If you have any appointments booked after Wednesday May 29th at 7pm, please make sure you visit us in our new home at Rushden Vets4Pets.

Today marks the beginning of Veterinary Nursing Awareness Month! We currently have 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Student Veterinary Nurses working here at Wellingborough. Nurses work alongside vets and are involved in all aspects of care given to you and your pets, even though you may not realise it. If your pet needs a second vaccination, admitting for surgery, a nail clip, a check for flea & worm treatment, a post op check up, a blood sample taking, or even triagin...g due to an emergency you will see one of our Veterinary Nurses. They also carry out a wide range of tasks behind the scenes, including monitoring anaesthetics, patient recovery, lab work, cleaning, and of course giving lots of cuddles! #VNAM19 #WhatVNsDo

We have had this very cute stray puppy handed in to us this morning, found at Croyland Park with no owner. We believe him to be a Border Collie cross, but he has no collar or microchip. He is a little bitey, but we think he may just be scared! Proof of ownership will be required.

The gorgeous Mylo visited one of our nurses this week for a puppy weight check. Can anyone guess what two breeds he is a mix of?

Meet Toby, loving his Critical Care recovery food after being castrated yesterday. He also recently had an extra toe removed, which is how he earned his name! He is currently recovering at Pets at Home Wellingborough and when given the all clear will be up for adoption and ready to find his furever home!

It is important to bring your pets in for regular weight checks so that we can ensure we are providing them with the correct flea and worm treatments. These appointments are also good opportunities for your pet to get to know us and the practice in a relaxed environment that includes lots of treats and cuddles. Here is Frankie after his recent weight check, demonstrating how laid back these appointments can be by lounging in the sink!
