Victoria Community & Youth Center

Victoria Community & Youth Center is a thriving locally managed Charity and Voluntary organisation set in the heart of Victoria Estate, Whitefield.

Victoria Community & Youth Association is a charity set up and run entirely by volunteers! The project was set up several years ago with the aim of providing services that would benefit the community, after acquiring a letting in the local school hall we embarked on starting a youth club and community wide projects that would benefit the residents of the local housing estate and surrounding areas.

With the youth club becoming more and more successful we found ourselves in a predicament of being too big for our current accommodation. We wanted to expand our project and branch out to new premises that would allow us to provide better bigger and better services. After searching for months we found our perfect building in the heart of the community. However, this meant that the tenants and residents association needed to take a big step with their project by registering as a charity and applying for a mortgage.

In October 2013 with the help of numerous third party organisations we successfully purchased and moved in to our new community center!
