Lovely staff and relaxing massage done by a great masseuse. Big shout-out to Lizzie, she was very friendly yet professional. Haven't used other facilities but would definitely recommend spa.

I have used other gyms in Northampton and Virgin is on another level. And the membership costs reflect it. There are so many classes that you can join, so much equipment and the locker/shower room is always clean. Staff are always pleasant. Shame i havent joined earlier.

I had utimate pamper day - was lovely and relaxing - totally recommends heaven V and loved the over 16's part - sauna steam room etc wonderfull, swimming pool also good and cafe - lovely food. Definitely go again

Did spin with an instructor called Maria 8.15sam Saturday morning and she was amazing!!! Full of enthusiasm, great music and so motivating!!!! Fab

What is the point of you tranquility' centre??? Trying to book an 'ultimate pamper day' experience that was a gift and called over 20 times over the past 2 weeks and I got through a total of 0, THAT'S ZERO, times. When I finally had a call back I could take I was told they couldn't book for the 11th April as it was too much in advance. Sorry but I have to have time to book time off!!!!?!!!!?????? What a waste of my time. Appalling advertising as an 'ultimate pamper day' absolutely zero ability to call through and book and nonsense about booking in advance. Will be called lastminute for a refund. NEVER going to bother with virgin active again.

Ok, you did ask. Here goes, buckle up. Up until now the only gripe that I’ve had would be that most of the shower gel dispensers are either empty or broken, not a bigger if I was at a cheaper gym but at somewhere that has such high opinions of itself it’s unacceptable. This one however is totally out of order, like the blokes toilets were for nearly a week, toilets spewing sewage all over the floor, staff walking through the effluent and then walking across the changing room floor, a broken toilet plunger left on a changing room bench whilst I was using the gym and still there when I’d finished, the foul smell of human waste is not the one pre or post workout. I know thing go wrong but to take nearly a week to put right is just not good enough. If Virgin group can put a balloon to the edge of space they can get plumbing repaired the day it goes wrong. To be told by staff yesterday that we can’t do anything about it, again was not good enough, no such thing as can’t, it’s now fixed, hopefully but I do wonder how well it was all cleared up where this morning blokes were walking barefoot to the sinks. Rant over.

The classes and the gym floor are all up to scratch as far as I’m concerned, ok sometimes a water fountain isn’t working but it’s soon fixed.
