Today, we look at 'The Three Ps' - Practice, Perseverance and Patience, focussing on their role in singing and performance.
Using a recording of an actual lesson (recorded 23rd December), we highlight the progress that training here can achieve when combined with the 'Three Ps' work-ethic.
The vocal example that you hear is a work in progress (to me, singing is a constant work in progress!) and there is still some refinement that needs to take place in order for this to be 'p...erformance-ready' but the 'after' clip included demonstrates fast and effective vocal improvement.
A fairly long video at just over six minutes, but worth a watch if you are a current student or are interested in training here.

I have just finished delivering the last official lesson of 2018!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has booked lessons this year and also those of you that have shared the various posts over the past few months.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Owing to increasing demand, the studio will now be open for an extra 30 MINUTES on Mondays and Thursdays. The new closing time is 8.30pm. This means that there are now two half-hour lessons up for grabs on these days. First come, first served!

The Studio will be closed from Monday 24th December 2018 - Tuesday 1st January 2019.
We re-open on Wednesday 2nd January 2019 with lessons being delivered as per your usual time/day.

Fun Fact for Sunday: My students have a 100% pass rate for vocal examinations, regardless of the exam board, with over 70% achieving 'Distinction' grades (OK, it's not "fun", but it is something I'm very proud of!)
