So, it's Monday and we're 2 days post break in. To be perfectly honest, we are absolutely gobsmacked and overwhelmed by the unbelievable show of support that has been sent this way.
To all that have called to check in - Thank you To all that have shared the post - Thank you To all that have offered their support in one way or another - Thank you.... To those that were let down on Saturday - Thank you; we'll get another date in the diary very soon. To our friend who we haven't seen in more than 10 years that rocked up yesterday with a full kit - Thank you the most.

Not great news coming out of Voltowers this morning unfortunately; The van was broken into overnight and all tools were stolen.
This may mean that some jobs booked in will need to be moved. If this is the case, Sam will contact you this morning.
... We’re aiming for minimal disruption and apologise for any inconvenience that it may cause. We’re obviously gutted about it.

On 11th August, Kirsty (The Boss) and I are doing a 26 mile walk for Alzheimers Society along the Hadrians Wall route in memory of Vera, Kirsty's nan who I'm sorry to say we lost to this terrible affliction a few years ago. It was simply heartbreaking to see someone so active and sharp disappear before us. So, I'm asking for your help, anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated, whether it's directly to support the charity or just to see a lad with short legs walk a marathon 🙈 please hit the link below. ****calling all house buyers**** Can someone please tell me where this year is going? It’s been crazy here at VOLTowers; not that we’re complaining, mind you. Sam has been busy doing condition reports among other things. They’re essential for those buying properties as they’ll tell you if the installation is safe. Trust me, the last thing you want when you buy a house is to be told that the electrics are that bad that the insurance won’t cover you if anything goes wrong - ye...s folks, it happened to us before Sam retrained. Had we known what was hiding under the surface we’d have renegotiated the price. Condition reports start at £120 and could save you a small fortune. it's the weekend and Hubby has been doing what any self respecting man does on a Sunday. Yep, you guessed it, he's been doing a spot of DIY. Normally I'd have my head in my hands wondering what I'm going to have to fix (or get fixed) but this time he's been doing what he's good at; electrical stuff. He decided that it's high time, and he'd be right (but that's between me and you - it's not something I'd normally admit) that we should have some cameras up around the perimeter ...of the house. So now we have and it got me thinking: How many of our 'likers' are as behind the times as we are in this area? Is it something that people give any thought to before it's too late? I know that CCTV isn't guaranteed to stop people breaking in and taking things that aren't theirs but what it can do is aid the authorities with catching the toerags and with social media being what it is, I suspect that it may speed up the process too. With this in mind, if i've jogged something in you mind, give Sam a call or message the page and he'll sort you out. Until next time... Kirsty

Ssssssh don't tell Sam but I need to talk to you all about the 'C' word. Yep, Christmas is rapidly approaching and not much riles my fella more than 'Get it in time for Christmas' - I'm sure I married Scrooge himself. However, Sam is currently booking in jobs 3/4 weeks from now. He has space here and there but for anything that requires a day or more he's rapidly running out of time. So, if there is anything that you need/want doing before the big man comes down the chimney please get in touch. Kirsty

Evening! Sam had a call last week regarding some outdoor lights that were tripping the electrics in the house everytime they were switched on. Now, he loves a bit of fault finding (trust me) so off he went to investigate. These (huge) slippery slugs had made a home out of the joint box; they have since been removed and the problem fixed. Now that the nights are drawing in it might be a good idea to check that your outdoor lights are in good working order. If they're not, you... know what to do :)

The job was to put power down to my shed and install a consumer unit, sockets, lighting and security lighting. Highly recommend Electrician, very thorough, professional and trust worthy. Sam also performed a few minor safety checks on my original electrics which gave me additional piece of mind. Thanks.

Sam was brilliant. Very professional, reliable and advised us appropriately. We had a series of jobs that needed doing and had an idea of what we wanted. Sam suggested a possible alternative for one particular job and it was excellent. Voltaire will be our first choice every time in the future.

After looking for an electrician after realising that my 1960s fusebox was a major hazard, a friend reccomended this chap. After explaining that My wife was 8 month pregnant and the thought of leaving her in the house alone was scary to say the least. Sam swapped his jobs around and came a few days later. He changed it to a modern RCD unit tested and certified. Everything works perfect and we now feel safe. What I would like to highlight was this chaps professionalism and politeness. In modern times it's hard to find a tradesman with old fashioned morals and values He is an absoloute gentleman. I can't recommend this service enough. We will be having alot more work done to the house which we are currently renovating and extending. Sam will be my goto guy for all electrical work. I can't thank him enough.
