Don’t try this at home 😂

Well it’s been a busy few weeks hence my lack of posts in here. So let me fill everyone in on what we have been up to.
Pictured is the work I’ve recently been doing, modernising and rewiring a whole top floor to consist of eyeball sensors (no more kids leaving the lights on) and then modern led fittings .... the room on the right and the exterior of the property consists of led WiFi and app enabled colour changing lamps .... giving complete control over light levels, colour,... on and off times and much more, all from your phone or tablet. Very clever stuff I think you’ll agree. Also fitted are some 5mp hikvision dome cameras, again paired so they can be viewed on a phone or tablet.
Elsewhere Simon and Corey have been working near and far this week, with a local job in Skegness installing 16 led downlights in a snooker room followed by a midweek trip to Northampton to install some electric heating in the offices of a large software company to then have to go out to Boston at the end of the week to carry out a consumer unit change and some wet room work for bathroom conversion.
Richie and Bailey this week have been installing some decorative festoon at a local caravan park, changing some lighting out at a local industrial park and installing some underfloor heating to a bathroom ..... amongst all this there has been the usual caravan related work with the sites now drawing to a close we seem to be inundated with end of season electric tests.
Next week is already busy but I’ll do my best not to leave it so long before my next post

This was found by Bailey today. It’s a plug top from an electric fire in a caravan on haven.
He was asked to investigate as to why the fire wouldn’t work and upon pulling the fire out he found this.
This van was electric tested by another company just over a year ago and given a pass.
... This in my opinion again goes to show the importance of regular electric testing.
A new socket outlet and replacement plug top and Bailey soon had the fire back on and the customer toasty warm again.

Trick or treat .... it’s that time of year where the kids dress up and innocently knock on the doors and the adults give them treats for their efforts.
Unfortunately it’s also the time of year where the clocks change, the nights are darker for longer and unfortunately the small minority of criminals prey on unsuspecting peoples houses.
We are now getting more and more enquiries for CCTV and external lighting.

Last day of October half term and a lot of our caravan customers packing up for the season. I think we can agree that on a weather front we’ve done ok this year ..... however for those still battling on to see the remainder of the season out we have just received a shipment of 20 more of our caravan heaters with some to fit this week but still plenty left in stock for anyone that wants to warm their caravan through now the wintery weather has finally hit us.

Well the phone rang off the hook yesterday with people booking their end of season electric tests as well as a few heater install bookings.
Remember we are fully insured, NICEIC registered and signed up to carry out work on all blue anchor sites.

Over the weekend I’ve finished off installing the electrics pictured. This consists of the main 6 led down lights being switched via a motion sensor (to stop the kids leaving them on) Then an led colour changing strip light illuminating up from behind the coffer plus blue deck lights shining down on either side.
To top it off blu tooth speakers have been installed in the ceiling that work with Alexa.
... Today the rain hasn’t stopped Simon and Corey from installing PowerPoints for electric heaters in a couple of caravans. Elsewhere Ritchie and Bailey have been extending a fire alarm system in a sea front hotel before October half term kicks in next week.

Job today installing 4 canister led lights switched via a photocell on the outside of a property in wrangle.
The dark nights are getting earlier ..... so we are getting more and more requests for both lighting and cctv.

I have had a double socket fitted in the shed today. Due to the arctic conditions the plumber had to cancel and I fully expected the electricians to so the same. Much to my shock the 2 lads from WAF's turned up and battled the elements to not only get the job done but also done to a very high standard. I won't be using anyone other than WAF's going forward and would recommend to everyone.

I have had Wayne and the lads from WAF do all of my electrical work over recent years in fact from when Wayne first started out. Can never fault any of them always high quality of work. Very highly recommended to anybody looking to have any electrical work done.

Had two young lads in to fit radiator and towel rail in van today, extremely polite and efficient will be rebooking for 3 more rads later in year very pleased with them
