Wow!!!!! Fantastic service. Dealt with Roy on email as I found they were selling replacement Ray Ban lenses on eBay. Pleasure to deal with, was very patient with me and made sure the correct lenses were in stock. Paid over the phone for the lenses, free fitting and he even adjusted my sunglasses (I had sat on them!) and they arrived the following day - fantastic service all round, a true credit to your profession!!

Would just like to say what lovely,friendly,professional service I received today in the shop,from the eye test right through to the friendly and honest opinions on what glasses suited me.Everyone of the ladies who I dealt with were helpful/friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone from wanting a eye test through to a purchase.

I've used Walters opticians since they first opened in Gainsborough. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've recently moved away from the area but will still be travelling back fir my eye exams. I have also recommended them to lots of friends and family and on that basis my mum has also been a customer of theirs for a number of years now, as well as a few of my friends. Roy and his staff provide a faultless service that you would struggle to get anywhere else.

I have been looking for tag reflex glasses for some time and nobody had stock. Walters didn't only have stock thay had a choice of colours.

Having developed a problem in one eye I went to the hykeham branch to book an appointment. They managed to get me in the following day. Following this they managed to arrange an appointment for the following day at the eye clinic at LCH. They even contacted me to ask how I had got on at the hospital. What excellent customer service. Big thank you to all the hykeham team. You are brilliant.

Been today for my annual check up, new option guy was really good and friendly. Girls in the front of desk were amazing telling me what glasses suited my face rather than trying to sell me the more expensive frames. Used these guys for over 15 years and quite frankly wouldn't go anywhere else ’┐Į

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish. Would definitely not go anywhere else for my site tests and glasses!

I've given 3 stars as myself and 3 daughters have never had any issues or complaints in the several years we have been going. However, I rang last week to book my daughter in 6 1/2 weeks before her annual test. I was told by the lady in reception that there may be a charge of ┬Ż25 because she wasn't yet due. I was given an appointment for 17th March whereby at that time I could get the test free under the NHS (my daughter is 14) but the lady did say that if I was concerned, I should make an earlier appointment. That was the whole point Walters missed. I WAS concerned and that was why I was ringing to make an earlier visit. I had told the lady that my daughter's eyes were sore and that she had lost her latest glasses and so was using her first pair (I was also not informed that the glasses were covered for loss and could be replaced either free or for a small charge). Being concerned still I sought help from another opticians....explaining the situation again to them and got my daughter booked in for today. When cancelling the 17th March appointment and saying I had got one elsewhere, a different lady on reception at Walters seemed quite put out and told me I needed to notify the new place of my daughter's last eye test. I told her I already had and it wasn't a problem! It's been confirmed today that my daughters eye sight has substantially deteriorated and she is now on 6 monthly checks and has to wear her new glasses (when she gets them) all the time. I made the right call getting her in earlier. I don't believe Walters would of charged me for the test in the end as it was obvious her eyesight had got far worse but they seemed more concerned informing me of a possible charge than of customer care. I will book my other daughters in with the new opticians now. Such a shame as aside from that I was quite happy with the service.
