Help us maintain our WPN Advanced Plus status as THE place to play Magic in Northampton and have some fun into the bargain!
We need a 50 person event to keep us on top for another year so the more the merrier. Spread the word, bring your friends and help us get more shiny prize support for you guys to win in all our Magic events.
Pack Wars is dead simple to play. Just buy a booster pack (from any set,) shuffle in a bit of land without looking at your cards (we can lend you a bit of land if you don't have any) and play it like a 30 card deck. We'll be here all day so pop in any time to join in.

User

in love with this place. Absolutley Amazing

User

We went in to buy a Pokémon Booster Box and some card sleeves. You are instantly met with genuinely kind staff. The chap that served us, possibly the manager, comes across as a very kind and knowledgable person and helped as best as he could. We spent a fair amount of money in one hit and although the store was unable to price match we were given a load of free cards for our decks. The products we did buy are brilliant, we are now in undated with cards lol. We will definitely be going back, I'm just waiting for them to open today! :)

User

Was fortunate enough to meet Dave who helped me get everything I needed for my daughter and I. Great shop. Thanks Dave.

User

Very helpful and friendly would recommend to any one :)

User

Really enjoy going in to the store and having a bit of a chat, watching (and hope to eventually play) the games. overall a great environment!

User

Literally walked past it today as they were closing, and they were kind enough to let me in. Such a lovely place, came away with a Aquila Stronghold. I would like to go there again, but spend a bit more time in there as we were on route to a restaurant.

User

I'm a regular visitor to this shop. They've got a great selection of games, miniatures and accessories, and frequently run events where you can just turn up and play.

User

I am so glad that this shop exists in Northampton. The staff are informative and approachable. It boasts a great range of board games (which is my main interest). I'm looking forward to shopping here for many times to come...especially with the Cthulhu related releases!

User

Helpful. Well stocked and open and inclusive to all ages.

User

Great place to choose your next game or even just to get some advice. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you learn your new game.

They run regular events for various games along with Friday Night Magic (on a Friday, no less) and there is a store discount if you spend enough.

There is also public parking just along the road that is currently free on the weekend or for up to two hours in the week.

User

Great place for FNM. Only started a few weeks ago and everyone is so helpful for beginners.

User

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and only place in Northampton to get decent board games at decent prices.

Also Friday Night Magic there is great too! Highly recommended! :D

User

Great atmosphere, kid friendly and professional service.

User

Great atmosphere, good selection of games, I appreciate the expert and patient advice and the chance to play games not seen before purchasing.

User

Game in to have a look at some board games. Must say a great selection of games, not only that but the member of staff who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. Left with epic spell wars the game i came in for as well as adding a few more to my to buy list, was so happy i have recommended to some friends who made purchases and were just as impressed as i was.

User

Friendly staff, good stock and an excellent space for gaming. Win.

User

Board game newbie - Wonderful service as I went in asking "for a game" and they must have hundreds - Ended up buying 3 with 10% off for orders above £50 - Already love Saboteur and Munchkin - Must find some time to pay Mysterium (big fans of Cluedo and Dixit so this one has the most anticipation behind it). Would recomend to anyone who fancies getting into the world of "grown up" board games.

User

As a board gamer this is the best place to get a wide selection of board games in town. Its either that or get them online. Which can be unreliable. They will also order in games if they do not have them in stock. Competetive prices. As well as a friendly attitude. These guys are really into, and know their games. So if i am stuck for choice they can give me some sage advice. And there is of course their whole array of wargames merchandise. So much so that it occasionally makes me want to play. And i am not a wargamer by any standard.

5?! these guys deserve a 10!

Thanks to all of you.

User

Always willing to accommodate people and always expanding their games collection!
