The Lodge boasts private fishing pegs only a few feet from the patio doors and a paved patio area where you can just sit back and relax within its own secluded gardens. Why not enjoy a beer or glass of wine or two! ! and take in the true beauty of this spot which boasts direct views across the Duck Lagoon, one of the most sort after areas of the park. Fishing from here is in the deeper part of the lake which is stocked with Tench, Carp, Rudd, Roach, Pike Bream and Perch. (specimin carp up to 25lb) all fishing fees included in the price. Take a moment to look at the photographs guests have sent of the fish they caught from here 2014 amazing! ! ! ! ! NO EXTRA BOOKING FEE WITH THIS LODGE.
Waterside has two comfortable black Italian leather sofas and a modern 6 seated glass dining table, ideal for those family meals together. Ample coffee table space, 32 inch flat screen TV and DVD player (with large selection of dvds) XBOX with various games and a large retro style floor rug . All mod cons in the kitchen including Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Microwave, Kettle Toaster and Tefal cookware. Three good sized bedrooms, a deluxe king-size bed to the main bedroom with flat screen T. V bedside tables and lamps, along with ample wardrobe space and free standing dressing table with a triple mirror ideal for getting ready for that special evening out . Bedroom 2 hosts a beautiful wooden ash bed, bedside tables and lamps, full length dressing mirror and two wardrobes large enough to accommodate every women's attire. Bedroom 3 has two twin beds both with storage facilities underneath, bedside table and lamp. The Bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and screen, glass shelf for toiletries, toothbrush holder, shaving and make up mirror along with hooks and shelves for towel storage. The Utility room has a washing machine, iron, ironing board and Hoover. Outside is equipped with a large washing line.
Waterside has been tastefully decorated throughout with every attention to detail, the gardens have been landscaped and kept very rustic in line with the surroundings. A lawn area to the front, back and side, paved patio and six seated patio table with parasol ready for that alfresco dining. Relax in a top range 3 seater swinging chair with cushions and two additional deck chairs for fishing are also provided. There is ample car parking for two cars on a private driveway, and additional parking to the rear of the property.
I always greet my guests with the keys and show them around, in winter the heating and fire will be lit ready for your arrival, I would never expect you to enter a cold lodge its always warm cosy and inviting. I live on site manage the property myself and take great personal pride in it.
Lots of activities are located within easy reach, 360 acres of woodland to explore with an abundance of wildlife, ideal for the bird enthusiast. Walking and cycle routes, an 18 hole golf course, Just Wake Park to learn how to Wake board (lessons given for the beginner) Jet and Water skiing, fishing lakes, Children's outdoor adventure playground, new indoor swimming complex, sauna and steam room and gym facilities for those who just want to keep fit. RAF Coningsby is just a 10 minute drive away, home to the famous Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitors Centre, where you can see the Lancaster Spitfires and Hurricanes that fly over giving spectacular entertainment right on your doorstep.
The local village of Woodhall Spa 15 mins away hosts several good restaurants catering for all tastes of cuisine around the world, and of course the Kinema in the woods is well worth a visit, its like going back in time ! ! !
The award winning Golf Course at Woodhall spa is well worth a visit for all those serious golf enthusiasts.
Fancy a stroll, enjoy an excellent meal and drink, then venture no further than the park entrance, The Tattershall Country Pub and Restaurant. Advance booking required during peak holiday periods.
Why not visit the historic town of Lincoln just a short drive away, take in the beauty of the area and then hit the shops, go on treat yourself with a bit of retail therapy ! ! !
A little further a field (40km to the nearest beach ) then why not take a trip to the East Coast for that special day out, sample award winning fish and chips then roll up those trousers for a paddle in the sea and a stroll along the beautiful stretches of sandy beaches.
The kids will love the variety of arcades on offer and of course the trip would not be complete without a game of crazy golf.
