A hat trick from 'Welsh Wonder' Daniel Palmer ( Alanbrooke 17e) helped the 1st XV to victory over Queen Ethelburga's 26-5. The 2nd XV also came out on top 60 - 10.

Our new students had their first Welbeck Fitness Assessment today! A career in the military comes with a requirement to be physically fit. We hope that during their time with us they will develop their fitness habits which will stand them in good stead for their careers in the future.

Congratulations to all our 16 Entry students who achieved some outstanding A level results. 17% of all A levels were awarded A* with 80% of students being accepted onto their firm offer course at University. Well done to you all!

What a fantastic facility! Spent afew hours yesterday during the open day visiting the site and meeting students and teachers. Everyone we met were pleased to speak to us and nothing was a problem. A great experience overall. My son is over the moon with what he saw and is now even more determined to do well and gain a place. Thank you Welbeck.

Went to the open day on Saturday and my daughter has made up her mind that she want to attend. I have never seen her so excited and dedicated.

We visited yesterday for an open day with our daughter. She came home very inspired by the college and the students whom she engaged with and knows that Welbeck is a place she would thrive at. She will be applying in September and working so hard to get those grades.

This place is a fantastic opportunity for those that reach the requirements to get in. Visited three times now and you cannot fail to be impressed by this college.

Thank you for a wonderful open morning, my Daughter was buzzing on the way home, well done to Kierra who spoke to us about how a students feels very confident young lady. My Daughter even came home cleaned her bedroom and did her own washing.

Not only am I impressed with my son for finding and aspiring to go to Welbeck, but after visiting the recent open day my sons choice is truly founded. What was clearly evident was that Welbeck is a fantastic institution that strives to bring out the best in its students. Well done and thank you to the staff and students for making my son and us parents welcome.

My son is nearing the end of his first year and the personal development I've seen in him is phenomenal! He has always been very reserved and I think Welbeck has been the making of him in terms of this development. I have no worries or concerns about him being there. The care and attention they receive is second to none and the education even more so. It's definitely not an easy option and they need a steadfast work ethic but it is well worth the rewards. Extremely proud and pleased my son is a member of this wonderful establishment!

My daughter is now in her upper 6th. She has loved ever minute of being there. She has had so much more opportunities than a normal 6th form. Welbeck has turned our daughter into a person who has ambition, drive and a purpose and she’s a lot happier.

Fantastic College & facilities, attended with my wife and son for an open day. Students manners are impeccable and the grades are being acheieved year on year evidently the college is doing a great jod in teaching the pupils.

Can't tell you how amazed my wife and I are at the facilities available and how your young tour guides were so confident, polite and professional even though they were only on their 94th day at Welbeck! Thanks to everyone involved.

We chatted to three pupils who had only joined in the previous September , they were brimming with confidence and drive for achievement, polite and knowledgeable with their chosen career paths RN which our daughter is striving to join even supplied our daughter with their email addresses if she had any questions or concerns regarding Welbeck or entry queries into the Royal Navy.
