This Saturday we have entertainment from BASH! A popular male keyboard vocalist. With a wide range of songs in a style of his own. from 9 pm till late!!

THE WELCOME ARE HOSTING OUR FIRST EVER CHRISTMAS MARKET. We have a Fun Fair to entertain the children, Market Stalls, Mulled Wine and various other delights Our Macmillan Light a Light and Christmas Draw is being held on the Saturday evening So hopefully should be a fun filled couple of days for all the family!! We haven't been up here that long we have had a few meals here the food is brilliant the staff make you very welcome locals are friendly very clean pub and family orientated lookin forward to our mother's day afternoon tea thanks everybody

We ate here all weekend for lunch as the food is just fantastic and cooked from fresh. I would highly recommend the steak and ale pie with mash and peas it’s just the best! Staff are really pleasant and helpful. We don’t live in Skegness but always go here when we do - my son insists on it and he’s only 14!

Visited today for the first time despite having lived here over 7 years. What a shame I'd left it this long. Very polite & well presented staff, the place was spotless & my meal the 20oz mixed grill was faultless & cooked to perfection. I will most certainly be visiting again. Very highly recommended

Tried it for the first time and will definitely be going back I had the mixed grill it was perfect but I think some farmer might be a bit unhappy because half his animals was on my plate huge meal the wife had the lasagne she finished it all which is a first the place and the staff first class thanks for a great meal 5 star.

Never had a bad meal in this place! And the carvery is amazing!!

Lovely place, nice food, nice garden with a play area for the kids, staff are nice, oh and ping pong tables in the garden too, we will defo go again xx

Last night went to the gin night at the welcome it was excellent tried lots of lovely gins with different tonics or lemonade throughout the night we was provided nibbles and games with lots of laughter and great prizes thank you Clare it was a great night can’t wait for the Vodka night next month xx

I was there on Saturday . . . The food was majestic. . . The beer was magnificent, and despite 3.4m viewers for Lincolnshire’s 2nd Come Dine With Me winner, on Channel 4 - the truth is the entertainer was not as good as Bruce Springsteen

Food is beautiful, staff are always really nice and welcoming! It’s my local pub, would also say it’s the best food in Skegness if you want traditional English food! Also do Greek food 🥘 lovely pub all round! Deffo recommend.

First visit today. Random choice as had no idea what was around and new to visiting the area. What a find! Just like it appeared on the website! Food was spot on. 6 meals and everything as it should be. Excellent value for money. Good sized potions. Not kept waiting excessively long time. Polite staff. Good range of drinks. Comfortable welcoming atmosphere. Child friendly facility with a kiddie zone in the restaurant. Excellent well kept outside playarea which again was exactly as shown on the website (this is not always the case with other places!)

Fantastic place... brilliant beer garden too. We came to this pub as we had a footy tournament at Butlins Skegness last weekend. Their was 43 of us and all of us were very pleased with our meals. Excellently priced and super tasty. Kids enjoyed the garden too. And to top it off we had excellent weather! Thanks to Alisha who has been dealing with our booking ��

Been quite few times now and Food and service has been excellent good value for money would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Inn, food was fantastic, lovely garden at back with climbing frame for kiddies, would definitely go back if in Skegnessagain.

A wonderful friendly place for excellent food at very reasonable prices. The walking group I belong to had their Xmas Dinner party yesterday and the food quality and amazing staff made this one of the most memorable Christmas dinners I have had (and I am well over 21! so had a few ha ha ha,) A huge thank you to Claire and team. I think we all know where we will be going next year.

I always used to visit the welcome when I was in Skegness last year when I was up I had my little sausage dog with me I was still made welcome but told I had to eat in the pool room which was fine the food is great but this time when I visited I was really looking forward to a meal but I was told my dog was not welcome really disappointed

Called in for a meal and few drinks the down side was we sat near the fire place and the draft made our food go cold pretty quick .but the food was brilliant and the evening went down well too next we go we will ask to sit somewhere warmer but thanks for the offer to move us

Ok but food average and it took an age to get food.

Over an hour for 2 courses and one main was a salad!

Had the lamb rump special - asked for it medium but well done when arrived but we were so hungry it had to be eaten. Staff were really nice but wouldn’t go back.
