Wow what a weekend. It started with rain and ended with rain with a lot of sun and fun in between! Amazing turnout for our Equetech unaffiliated dressage championships 2018. Extra special mention to all of those who made it today despite the weather. We all kept smiling. Thankyou firstly to all our competitors through the series and congratulations to all who made it to the championships. Thankyou to our amazing main sponsor Equetech who has been a huge support and have dona...ted the most amazing prizes. Your generosity is amazing and without local companies like your supporting us we just wouldn’t be able to run in the same way. Thankyou to our other sponsors Honeychop and Cottesloe Physio and Kathryn White for donating some lovely prizes we hope all you winners enjoy!! Thankyou to Carol Andrews for donating the Mango Tess Memorial Shield which was won by Abby Docwra today in our Novice Champs. Thankyou to our judges, Lois James Hart, Anne Dingly and Kathy Marsden and our writers Melanie Chilvers, Suze St Maur and Helen Moppett for your great work this weekend. Thanks to Our gate steward for the weekend Katy who has been fantastic and kept the show running on time! Thankyou to Fae Loudoun Photography for keeping our competitors papped. Thankyou to my wonderful husband for keeping the catering wagon in full swing and well stocked and to Emily also for all your work yesterday. Lastly, Thankyou all so much for supporting Wing JDC. We are having some quiet time over the winter months with just clinics being run as Gail is having another baby. But we will soon have dates up for the spring and start again for 2019. Our first dressage at Wing on Sunday, and what a lovely venue. Both staff and competitors were all so friendly made it a very enjoyable experience and which helped to calm the nerves on a first outing. We will definitely be back. Thank you :-)

User

Just wanted to say a big Thank You to Tracy Young! Kirsty and myself attended a clinic with Tracy today. The weather was pants and Tracy was not well but still managed to give us both a fab lesson! Always a pleasure to come to Wing! Such a lovely friendly venue! X

I love this venue. So friendly and welcoming and a great place for young and novice partnerships. Had a great day at the dressage with my sister today. Thank you to Gail and all the team.

User

I have only been a couple of times but this venue really supports its competitors. Friendly relaxed environment showing thought and consideration to all the riders whatever their level. Lovely little catering trailer with delicious offerings just when you need it. Everyone was friendly plus the added benefit of professional photographer who is usually present for events.

User

I have competed at Wing lots of times and its a really lovely place to take your horse to compete. Very friendly and relaxed. Gail works really hard to put on the shows and works with some great sponsors which means not only can you win vouchers which is great but gorgeous prizes too. If you haven't been you should definitely give it a go - you don't be disappointed! :-)

User

I can't recommend Wing enough.

Gail is very accommodating and all the shows are well organised.

The arena is well maintained and perfect for clinics and lessons.

The food is the best I have had anywhere.

I look forward to judging at Wing it one of my favourite venues. Thank you Gail x

User

Great venue with warm up and main arena close to each other so for young horses it's great to go straight from one to the other with no standing about.

Competitions have run to time each time I have been and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly while also being efficient . Scores are usually quick too - which as a one time scorer I find important.

There's a good car park, food and a loo all close by and the website is easy to use and a great resource . Competitions are usually attended by a photographer.

It's very inexpensive to hire with or without jumps and Gail is very obliging

We are very lucky to have this quality of venue so available

User

Friendly faces and excellent footing, great food and lots of fun events going on!

User

A fantastic venue, very friendly and welcoming! The surfaces in the arenas are of a very high standard, large car park and great food! Don't forget to have a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows!! 👍🏻😀
