Results Update Saturday open Gold lake 21st july With what like seemed all the Carp on the surface today... It was always going to be a struggle. Well that’s apart from if your name is Simon fields. Gold lake. 18th July I had a go today just to try a method but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. Having said that I was probably sat in the worst area on the lake. Jonny James would verify that too. I switched to paste in the last hour and caught a few lumps which got me out of jail a bit. Maybe a switch earlier may have made all the difference. There was a battle the other side of the lake between dean Marshall and Carl braithwaite but dean took the bragging rights. 1st. Dean Marshall Peg 17. 159lb 08oz 2nd. I had a few comments saying how fair the pegging was and how they appreciated how I was running it. It’s always nice to feel appreciated. The water temperature dropped 3 degrees overnight with the rain we had and I wasn’t sure how it would effect the fishing. The bigger fish really didn’t feed but plenty of smaller ones had a go. A fair Match Over the 2 Lakes once again. Over on silver, drawbag bill marsh picked up once again, it’s getting a bit regular now. Today’s Open Match on Silver Lake

we stayed for a long weekend the lodge was brilliant with hot tub round side which we used a lot, the setting is great with all the lakes, took the dog for walks round them all so he enjoyed his stay there aswell. the owners are very friendly and helpful. we will be coming again Thank you

Wow!! Beautiful location, so peaceful. Lodges are amazing, hot tub is best one we've been in, definitely returning.

What a lovely place to stay � the lodges are amazing, so spacious and immaculate. Whether your a keen fisherman or a novice there is something to suit all, the staff are so friendly and always happy to help and the food in Julie’s cafe is delicious. Can’t wait to go back

We have just come home from spending a week here and absolutely loved it ! Such a beautiful tranquil setting ! Lodges are superb spotlessly clean and the hot tub was superb . Staff are very friendly and Julie’s breakfast are lovely and great value for money ! Really didn’t want to come home

We arrived mon 9th April for a 4 night break for the hubbys birthday treat.

as we drove up the drive the lodges looked stunning in the country setting.

The lovely lady (I didn’t get her name) showed us to our lodge (9) and showed us around, I was in awe, these lodges are lovely and well equipped, my 2 young boys loved it here, the hot tubs were fab, even tho there was continued fog all week it never dampened our stay here.

I think his name was terry, he was very friendly and so were both their dogs, my boys loved Suzy the gsd, a very friendly dog

We are in a lodge now and go home tomorrow, but we have enjoyed everything about the place � highly recommend, we didn't come to fish just for a break, the staff are really helpful and to top it off its been very very hot �

Such a beautiful place! Me and my friends have just got back from a lovely weekend away at your lodges. The lodges were amazing. Brand new and kept in brilliant condition. The man from lodge 5 who is on the site all time is such a lovely man and made our stay very welcome. Will be definitely coming back next year. Highly recommend anyone to come, you will not be disappointed!

Stopped over in the Lodges at Wold View Fisheries after attending Ladies Day at Market Rasen as a surprise 50th birthday present from the Wife (bless her ). Beautiful lodges and a very relaxing setting where you can really switch off. Slept 6 of us and lodge was plenty big enough for your own space. Fantastic hot tub on raised patio area which was used a fair bit by us all. Lovely owner Tony and his family who I chatted to regulary each day about our same passion of horseracing. Cannot fault the place and we will be returning. Keeping an eye out for the #hammergun now ���

Stayed here 9th March gorgeous lodges beautiful grounds would recommend to anyone the guy in the tackle shop is very helpful � my little girl caught her very 1st fish here too

Lovely long weekend at wold view ,beautiful surroundings ,if you want a lovely quiet break and fishing wold view is perfect ,we stayed in one of the new 2 bed lodges ,"wow" absolutely lovely with our own hot tub as well ,highly recommended

Just returned from a weekend break at Wold View. It has been perfect from start to finish. The lodges are absolutely superb and have everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The staff are wonderful and were so kind to our 6 year old who has loved every minute. Everything has been so peaceful and relaxed, and we've loved using the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay!

Just got back today from our weekend away (stayed in lodge 1). It was beautiful and very relaxing. A lovely warm welcome and felt looked after. Even Our two dogs had a lovely time. The lodge was fab and kitted with all mod cons and the decking area was lovely and spacious. Plenty of places to walk the dogs around the fishing lakes. And the men enjoyed the fishing. Will defiantly be returning. Thankyou again �

Just arrived home after a wonderful two weeks in luxury at Wold View! Our lodge was beautiful, the setting and location is idyllic and Terry and his wife are so helpful and such lovely lovely people. We highly recommend here if you are looking for luxury and a chance to switch off yet recharge your batteries.

Our children loved it and our daughter especially is going to miss the absolute beauty Suzy the German Shepherd.

I came here as a solo guest, I was after a break away from home/work life with the dog. From the moment i drove down the drive I knew this was the place I needed for a much needed break. I was welcomed on arrival by Jess, & she showed me around the lodge & nothing was too much hassle for her. The hot tub was unto temp on arrival (bonus). I have been to lodges before where they charge extra for this. There were plenty of open areas for the dog & nice walks on the door step.A cafe on site if you don't want to cook for yourself & a local friendly pub a mile away. I will defiantly be returning in the summer & I will dig out the fishing gear too. Thank you Wold View

Had a wonderful stay here for my 30th birthday.

The lodge was beautiful, immaculately clean and the hot tub was a lovely treat!

If you have dogs with you just be aware that around the fishing lakes there are quite a few dead fish that have sadly been disposed of.

The owner has a couple of dogs that wander about so if you have protective poochies this can cause chaos.

We loved it and are hoping to return again next year. Thank you.

Great long weekend at Wold View. Stayed for the races and threw in some fishing and golf for good measure. Well situated near market rasen. Cabins are some of the best I have stayed in well decorated and kitted out with built-in Bluetooth speakers which was a nice touch. Would stay again.

Friendly helpful staff,welcoming and genuine for all anglers of all abilities..

Good tackle shop with a wide range of products.

Lakes well stocked for match and pleasure fishing set in a lovely location..

What's not to like!!

A stunning place, lodges are 10/10! The fella running this place made it tho, So down to earth and laid back. Knew from the minute we spoke to him that we were going to have a great weekend. Will return asap (with my fishing gear) ��

1st holiday here and definitely not our last. Lodges are excellent. Fishing is good too, especially when I picked up winnings from 3 matches.

Only thing I would say is that it would be nice if there was lockable tackle storage..... otherwise, 1st class.

The bailiff, Steve, is doing a great job - best man, never stops working.
