Popped in Sunday 4th March, very quiet but still nice, could have done with some back ground music because we could hear other diners slurping soup! Nicely refurbished and the windows add light! Will try the menu next time! Noticed jazz night advertised! Maybe will visit for this!

I work at TRCH and have to admit it's the best it's ever looked. Welcoming and friendly and open to anyone passing by. Recommend you take a visit and try the real ales etc ....

Great bar to go too for a drink,food looks very good value and all the staff are very friendly.

Visited twice yesterday, Saturday, once before Cilla the Musical and once after! Not bad prices and the rhubarb cider was delicious. Clean and tidy. Very busy about 6.45pm not so bad at 10.30pm ish. Staff friendly even let me sample some kind of Dragon cider on the 2nd visit as the rhubarb had run out (along with quite a lot of other beers!) Had a pint of that as was just as nice. very chilled and relaxed went and sat outside to cool down but a fair few rude street beggars asking for change and very drunk people disagreeing with taxi drivers which wasn't ideal but hey ho it's town centre on a Saturday night! All in all no issues with the venue would visit again.

Over £12 for a single gin and tonic (gin of the week) and a half of a lower abv craft beer. Also no loos in the bar so had to queue with theatre crowds.

I have had the worst pot of tea in Yarn this morning. It was so weak it could barely make it out the tea pot! My mother in law said the same and when she complained she was told by a very rude bar staff member that that was the way it was always made. We disagreed because we have been going in Yarn for the last 4 months and the tea has always been lovely. They also opened 25 minutes late this morning with no explanation as to why that was! We could not believe the rudeness of the young man behind the bar. Eventually we got a refund but probably won't be going back in a hurry with bar staff with attitudes like that!
