We all know we need water to survive, but you might ask yourself why is it important we drink enough water? It’s a good question.
Your body is approximately 60% water. Each day your body must replace on average 2.4 litres for daily function. Drinking enough water maintains the body's fluid balance, which helps transport nutrients in the body, regulate body temperature and digest food.
Water comes with many added benefits such as flushing out toxins, increases energy, boosts ...the immune system and also promotes weight loss.

VO2 max is the measurement of the maximum amount (Or volume) of oxygen that you can use during intense levels of aerobic exercise. It is measured as milliliters of oxygen used in one minute per kilogram of body weight.
Your VO2 max depends on a variety of different factors such as how many red blood cells you have, how much blood your heart can pump, also how well your body can adapt to endurance training.
In reality, the more oxygen you use during exercise, the more energy your body can produce. A higher VO2 max means your body is better and more efficient at utilising oxygen during exercise. Not only that, research has shown those with a higher VO2 max are likely to be healthier, happier, live longer and have better quality of life.

Eating a balanced diet is vital for good health and wellbeing. Food provides our bodies with the essentials such as energy, protein, essential fats, vitamins and minerals to live, in order for us to grow and function.
Foods are made up of 7 groups of nutrients. These nutrients are called macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fats), micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), fibre and water. Without these 7 important items you will find it hard to reach your goals.
