Did You Know? PSA, the parent company to Peugeot, Citroen and DS, bought Opel and Vauxhall in November 2017 for £1.9 billion. Vauxhall and Opel had been part of the General Motors family for nearly 100 years, when GM decided to sell up. Vauxhall have gone from an 18 year loss slump, to reporting profits in 2018. The company are expected to finish any ties with GM in 2024, when all cars will move to 2 modular PSA platforms.

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of our own today. Dave Chard, who celebrated 30 years with us in 2018, was a fantastic member of staff who will be greatly missed. He will be remembered for his professionalism, his friendliness and his sense of humour. Many of his colleagues and customers know of his tough battle, and the fact that he and his sense of humour stayed strong throughout. Broad Green and our associates would like to express our sympathies to Dave's family at this tough time.
