Fingers crossed the T Party is on this Monday!
With the snow hopefully clearing away and with our staff back from holiday we are really looking forward to hosting the T Party this Monday.
We will of course keep you posted but hope to see many of you there!

We are really sorry but due to staff absences on Monday 26 February we aren't able to run the T Party. It's such a shame as we had to cancel last week's too.
However, Dana will be back in on Monday 5 March 2018 to run her first session as a youth leader. Exciting!

We've had a really exciting couple of weeks with new young people joining, T Party sessions led by Toby Campion and Hibword and great workshops and assemblies at several schools. What an excellent start to 2018!

Lisa, our Project Lead, is now on leave until 2 January 2018. Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year! We are already looking forward to continuing our work for the third year of the project!

Hello Everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we've had to make the decision to cancel tonight's session. Due to staff illness and volunteers being on holiday we don't have the staff to cover unfortunately.
... It's such a shame we've had to cancel two weeks in a row but we promise we'll be back and raring to go on Monday 8 January 2018!

We're really pleased to have assisted with interviewing for the Adult Trans Project starting in January 2018. It's brilliant that Reaching Communities have funded this important work for the adult trans community, alongside our BBC Children in Need project!

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance 2017. We commemorate those who we've lost due to transphobia and violence. And not just here in the UK but to all those worldwide.
We continue to support and work for those who are here now and to push for equality for our trans communities so one day we won't lose anybody else due to inexcusable prejudice and stigma.

Tomorrow we are taking some of our young people for an activity day of canoeing and archery! It may be wet, it may be cold but it's going to be great fun!

Just a note to say Lisa - our Project Lead - in on holiday until 18 October. The T Party will be on on Monday. If you need any support contact the Leicester LGBT CEntre and/or email Lisa and she will get back to you when she gets back!

Tonight the T Party WILL be on as usual. However, Lisa will not be available for drop-ins between 4pm and 6pm. If you'd like some support please drop in on Thursday between 4pm and 6pm.

BBC Horizon's 'Being Transgender' is finally airing tonight at 9pm on BBC2. We are so excited as a few of our young people feature. We are so hopeful to see some positive trans representation in the mainstream media too!
