Acorn Village

Established in 1975 by a group of parents who wanted to create a secure future for people with learning disabilities. People first, disability second. Reg Charity No: 263954

Acorn's riding, bowls and swimming teams compete in local events, their craft entries regularly win prizes at local shows, and many of the people at Acorn Village take up further education and regularly attend clubs and groups throughout their local area. They plan and organise holidays and are given appropriate staff support.
