Acoustic Music & Ale Weekend

The Acoustic Music and Ale festival will be on from 23rd - 26th August. We have had lots of enquiries for camping, the passes will be on sale very soon. However, they will be limited, so keep an eye out and get in quick. We are looking forward to seeing you all again. Marketing being finalise in the next few days!!

THIS THURSDAY THE GLOSSOP FOLK TRAIN PROUDLY PRESENTS:
CODSWALLOP A new band to the folk train playing a mixture of acoustic material from traditional Tunes, Blue Grass, and some humorous songs with the 4 vocals forming a nice blend. They consist of acoustic bass/guitar/percussion and alternating mandolin and banjo. Terry has a “BANJO” and refuses to leave it in it’s case. Adi, Iain, Terry and Jayne have the ability to talk a load of old Codswallop, hence the name!
... The new time for leaving Manchester Piccadilly on Thursday night will be 18.59 (over 10 mins later than usual). The train returning from Glossop will be the 21.45 and will not get back into Manchester until 22.21. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN MAKE YOUR CONNECTING TRANSPORT HOME. Please buy your tickets before boarding the train. There will be a £2 per head raffle ticket sale in order to pay the musicians. A great night out for very little cost come along and enjoy

Lostock Ukes kicking the day off at Marbury Park. Live music all day with the Bogtrotters closing later on! Plenty of beers and fun to be had...

What a great atmosphere! This is a free event in Marbury Park, it on all weekend, so co come and join us, loads of live music and it’s a beer festival too. Still some camping spots available tonight £10.
