I recently purchased a solo 2 from a 3rd party vendor on amazon. The unit I received was defective. There was a problem with the charging port.

So I sent the unit back and was refunded. I purchased my second solo 2 off of amazon from motomummy. I received my unit and didn’t open it until the last Friday morning 6/30/18. I plugged the unit in and it was charging while I got my gear ready to head to Putnam Park in Indiana.

After we got on the road I attempted to plug the unit in again and I got a blank screen. Tried pressing all the buttons and still got nothing. If you’re still with me, that’s two defective units in two weeks!!

I called AIM directly and got in contact with Tyler Deneen. I explained my problem to Tyler and he got to work on trying to resolve it for me. He asked if I could just send back the old one and get another in return. I told him I was headed to the track and have no way to send it back. Furthermore I was looking forward to using my solo, AT THE TRACK. He did some research and worked it out for me. He made me a deal, he would overnight me a new updated solo 2 to my motel. He only asked that I send back the old defective one. Of course he asked for a valid credit card to hold onto in case i didn’t send the old one back.

Tyler was a man of his word!! He had my solo at my motel by lunch the next day!! I was able to get it on the bike and put it to the test.

The product worked great and I couldn’t be happier. The battery life is great, the screen is easy to read and the unit overall was plug and play. Navigating the unit is a little complicated but easy to get back on track after a short time.

Overall I recommend aim and their products to anyone. Hands down best customer service I’ve ever received.
