Al-Amanah is a local supplementary school based in Watford, Hertfordshire for children aged of 5 to 16 years. The school only runs term time on Saturdays mornings. We teach Islamic Studies, Qur’an reading with tajweed and Urdu. We are currently seeking dedicated, creative and enthusiastic teachers to occupy various positions from SEPTEMBER 2017:
... •Male Qur’an Teacher – you are required to have knowledge of tajweed rules and teaching experience. •Arabic Language – must have experience of teaching. •Islamic Studies: 3 classes so 3 positions. Aged 7-9 years, aged 9 - 11 years and aged 11-14 years. Must have experience of working with children, teaching and knowledge of the subject. •Teaching Assistants – various classes to work with children aged 5 – 16yrs.

Summer Family Fun Day
Al Amanah Supplementary School will be holding its Annual Summer Fun Day on Sunday 5th June from 12pm - 4pm to raise funds to continue to run projects at the school based in Watford.
We have booked the entire Holywell Community Centre, Tolpits Lane, Watford, Wd18 9QD for the event. This is the perfect opportunity for people to buy products prior to the advent of Ramadan - so any Islamic related products such as art work or Eid cards would fare well! And... obviously clothes and jewellery!
Stalls are priced between £20 - £30 where items and products are being sold. Information Only stalls are £10.
