There's an afternoon tea at Albury village hall 3 till 5 pm. The cakes are always fabulous. Children and dogs are always welcome. This week Terry Morris, the lead Neighbourhood Watch and Crime Prevention Officer for East Herts, will be attending along with our PCSO Deborah Mead. They will be giving out advice on fraudulent activity online, by phone etc. and will be handing out lots of crime prevention freebies.

The village hall will be open for afternoon teas on Sunday 1st July from 3 til 5pm. Come along and sample some delicious cakes baked by Albury's star bakers. Well behaved dogs are welcome so why not pop in for some après- walk refreshments! All profits will be donated to the St Mary's Church Albury maintenance fund. And if you're looking for a venue to hire for an event this is the perfect chance to have a look around.

We have lovely new fire-exit doors. Thank you to Stansted Airport Community Trust and Albury Parish Council for grants that have made these possible. They make such an improvement to the daylight in the room and you can now see more of the view too...

Is anyone looking for the perfect venue for an exercise class? Thursday afternoons and evenings are currently free. The regular hirer rate is just £10 per hour...bargain! Please spread the word.

We would like to thank the members of the Albury 200 Club for their invaluable support of the village hall. Subscriptions have recently paid for 28 new daylight LED lamps in the main hall, a new hand dryer and new door handles.

There's a very sociable, all ability exercise class at the hall every Monday at 11am. It's £3 per class (first session free). All proceeds are used to support the hall as the instructor is funded by Forever Active East Herts and Sport England, Please spread the word.
