What an amazing time my daughter and I had today!! Lots to do, great value for money and the staff were extremely helpful and very polite! Xx Santa’s grotto was amazing and he spent time with the child speaking to them and then got to chose whatever toy they wanted from his workshop! FANTASTIC!!!

User

We stayed at the park last night and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site was perfect and we were able to choose exactly where we wanted to camp. It’s as advertised, Wild Camping, absolutely perfect. It was our first camping trip with our three year old daughter and she loved it. The site is great for people with young families, our daughter even had a pony ride and made some wonderful new friends. We’ll definitely be back - we had a ball and couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you

User

I visited today with my 2 children & we all had a fantastic time. Your staff are great & the farm is very well managed. We can’t wait to come back again, thank you.

User

I love this park, as does my 4 year old. The woodland walk is really lovely, the farm is well maintained, pony rides are great. You can do the wood and playground, feed the ducks in the lake for £4.50 parking which is great value to kill a couple of hours in my opinion! Additional cost for other things but reasonable in comparison to similar farm entry cost in the area. Go here regularly and will continue to do so.

User

I just love Aldenham Country Park. There is always so much to do and bit by bit we are getting through all they have to offer. Whenever we have guests from out of the area over with their kids we always end up at Aldenham. Not only that but the customer service is fantastic.

User

Had our first outing here today and it was incredible. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the trail and exploring the woods! They were then in their element at being able to ride the ponies. The farm is brilliant and has great open areas for the animals to roam around. The prices aren’t over priced and the place is run brilliantly with fantastic staff. We’ll definitely be visiting again this summer!!

User

Fantastic place with lovely walks, play ground, farm park (extra cost) and a small cafe. Lovely for families and dogs.

User

Fantastic place with loads to do! Our 5 year old loved his first pony ride, and we all had fun building a den in the wood and walking around the lake! The wild camping is great - being able to pick your own spot and building a proper campfire! Will definitely be back to explore all we missed this time around...

User

Fantastic experience! We just spent the weekend at a Aldenham Country Park and really enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning again.

User

Amazing time spent with family, friendly staff, really helpful. Farm full of animals, camping place something incredible.

Will come back for sure.

Love ,love ,love.

Thank you !

User

We've just returned from a lovely long weekend at Aldenham. The site is well run with lots of friendly and helpful staff. The facilities were basic but adequate for a weekend. We loved the Winnie the Pooh walk in particular!

User

We had a great day yesterday, the Santa grotto was one of the best we have been too!! I brought lots of Christmas decorations from your shop which are beautiful! Only negative comments are heating would be useful in the soft play area & animal food very pricey, other than that we had a great time

User

I do love this place. There is so much to do for the kids. Good fun out in the fresh air. The only let down for me was the cafe. Only one high chair? Today I had to try and keep a 14 month old distracted enough to eat his lunch in his trike. More high chairs needed :) food was lovely and we had a lovely day regardless. Will return.

User

Had a beautiful Bank Holiday Monday with my lil crew today; even with the hoards of others it never once felt overcrowded or overrun. We filled our whole day without needing to pay for any of the additional attractions - picnic under the trees and fun in the great play areas, lovely lakeside walk and Winnie's wonderful 100 Acker Wood (plus customery ice creams of course) was just enough; not bad for the £4.50 car park fee 😊

User

Very disappointed it was raining today but we went anyway and they charge the same price but ran none of the events shown on poster. Usually a huge fan of this place but won’t recommend it again.

User

It's a lovely place that I have taken my children to all their growing years.

Sadly it's just become a huge money pit to visit something it wasn't before.

So many people have said the same thing but nothing much changes. If you are taking a family of 5 the daily outlay is pretty hefty. Everything is at an extra cost x 5! I want to buy eggs from the farm weekly but it costs me £4.50 just to drive in and out! So no go I'm afraid.

User

Went here on Saturday with my 3 kids.. we took all 3 bikes and we couldn't get all the bikes and all 5 of us in the one car so took a 2nd car. Thought we might get away with paying just the one charge of £4-50 but were told we would have to pay for both. Now we go here on a regular basis and like the park a lot but we ended up paying £9 which I was very annoyed over. Surely I'm not just being a scrooge here and we should have been looked at as just one family

The ‘I didn’t like it’ descriptor for 2 seems a little unfair as I do like the place, however, the service is sometimes a little hit and miss. Unfortunately the service on Friday was the latter. Booked a few months back for a 30 minute pony ride as special treat for son’s 3rd birthday. Arrived as instructed 5 minutes before (actually 15 minutes before) to see a queue of people/children and only 2 park personnel doing the rides. By 10 minutes past the booked time there were still people in front and the personnel running it didn’t seem to have a grip on what was going on. There was no checking of bookings or timings just working their way through the queue. Call me a traditionalist but if I book something for a certain time I like to do said activity for that time, particularly when I have a 3 year old in tow who has the attention span of a gnat when it comes to queuing. Saw the Duty Manager who said everyone was booked but sometimes the ponies take longer to move in the mud hence the delay. I kind of get this but 2 park personnel to deal with 3 bookings for 3pm doesn’t work irrespective of the mud and ponies. If the ponies are slow then alter the bookings, put more personnel on; manage it, don’t disadvantage the customer. To top it all off the ride was less than 25 minutes which makes it a rather expensive, not too pleasurable experience (at least for the adults!). The guys doing the rides were nice enough but management didn’t appear to be able to manage.

User

I used to go here regularly as a child and loved it so decided to show my boyfriend the park as i had such good memories.

Only to find your charged a ridiculous amount for everything, I didn’t mind paying £4.50 for parking assuming at least the petting farm was included.

But at £4 per adult for the petting farm as well I’m sorry but it’s a rip-off!!

You pay less for some zoo’s!!

Gutted as it’s now ruined my perception of this place.
