We sell quality food, drinks and goods, buying only quality products from quality suppliers, especially those in the beautiful and unspoiled region of Abruzzo, Italy.
We aim to be able to tell our customers exactly where their food has come from whilst promoting and supporting the availability of good, quality food for UK consumers.

Back to normal at last , but all this time off did give me a chance to experiment In the kitchen and I've come up with a new recipe please try it your self.
Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas we definitely have . back open tomorrow and have bread back in on wed and Thursday so a good time to stock up before new year we look forward to seeing everyone again :)
Just to let you all know we close tomorrow around 3.00pm. Then we reopen on Tuesday 29th December and close at 5.00pm on Thursday 31st December (we'll have bread on 30th and 31st). We'll be open again on Saturday 2nd January (but no bread) then we are back to normal on Monday 4th January.
What a lovely treat
Christmas bread orders : the dates we'll have bread are right up until christmas eve then no bread again until the 30th, then no bread in the new year from the 1st to the 4th. Get your orders in early to avoid dissapointment :-)
Open on Sundays before Christmas - guess what we are doing today :-)

Like supporting local producers too :-) These lovely vinegars are made 4 miles away from Derby

Went in this morning and bought another new rolling pin to make pappardelle (I already have the one for spaghetti), some salsa tartufato and a loaf of the best bread I've had in ages. Well worth visiting.
Well informed, hand selected and unique Abruzzo products a great and welcome addition to Derby Market Hall.
This is a little bit of Italy in Derby. Lots of very nice food, the bread is especially good. Very pleasant and enthusiastic staff. A real treat.
My new favourite place to by my Italian treats! Love the pastries! Knowledgable and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back and try lots more goodies. Love the recipe cards too!
Lush carbonara (slimming world style) by my Joey when I got home from work with a few tasty treats from Alessandro's especially a gorgeous focaccia :) loved it!
Great place for authentic Italian foods - a must for all Italian foodies in Derby
