Alleyn Court is a co-educational preparatory school for boys and girls on the outskirts of Southend-on-Sea. Family owned by the Wilcox family from its formation in 1904 until 2015, when the school was gifted to a charitable trust, Alleyn Court still has a strong family atmosphere and an excellent reputation. The Headmaster is a member of both IAPS and ISA and these are hallmarks of the quality offered by the school. The school prides itself on the breadth of curriculum and opportunities offered for children’s development, with high academic standards a major feature and PE and games, art, music, drama and French all integral to the curriculum. These are all supported and enriched through an extensive extra-curricular programme.
