The Cedars in Stoke-on-Trent is a contemporary residential care home set in comfortable surroundings meticulously finished to a very high standard offering first class care and facilities with en-suite rooms for up to 42 residents. At Anchor, we have a long history of caring for older people and we put our residents at the heart of everything we do allowing them to live a full, rich and meaningful life. In times of uncertainty, Anchor is a care provider you can depend on. We are proudly not-for-profit with 50 years of experience. The Cedars is the result of this approach, carefully conceived with all our experience and passion, to meet the needs and expectations of the next generation of older people. We also offer respite care at The Cedars so if you are thinking about going away, but worried about your loved one we can offer a helping hand. Our our very apprentice, Beth, was recently moved by the plight of homeless people in her local area that she has collected three boxes of blankets, toiletries and food for them in mark of National Apprenticeship Week.

💥💥 On the 18th August Staff & Resident's will be taking part in our Sponsored wheelchair walk around Ford Green Nature reserve, once we have completed our walk we will stop for a picnic before making our way back to The Cedars - Fingers crossed we have some lovely sunshine 🤔 All money raised will go to the residents comfort fund. We use this money to purchase craft supplies, days out etc. If you are visiting your loved one and would like to sponsor us the sponsor form is located above the visitor's signing in book 😊
Our quiet room on floor 2 was transformed into a Garden Room for those residents that are not able to go outside we brought the outside in 😊 These are some pictures from Christmas last year and it looks beautiful. We are planning to transform the quiet lounge on floor 1 into a fully functioning Cafe complete with an old style till, this can be used by residents and visitors 😁
Regular Activities take place within the home and the Home Manager Tracey Joinson likes to get involved too 😊
