Non stop major work on every scooter at the moment (longing for a basic service job to turn up 🤔). This poor old Lambretta needs a full make over (without tin shims and all the teeth on the cogs this time)………...but on a plus I do like a fresh rebuild straight from the spray shop today 😀

Busy few days stripping and rebuilding a Lambretta engine (now dyno tuned) whilst rebuilding a '66 Vespa 90 from scratch.

Vespa fork link / suspension arm......not one of my favourite jobs 🤔

Dyno room now up and running, 99% there ;just a few tweaks and ready for business :)

After a gruelling 12 days non stop graft we are finally going to be back doing what we do best; fixing, repairing and tuning scooters as from Tuesday 😀 in our fully refurbed new premises.👍 Massive thanks to Andy Saggers for building me a Dyno room in under 4 days! Nigel and Damian for all their hard graft and to Katy for her decorating skills 😁.

T5 still up for sale on behalf of customer. Engine just rebuilt, genuine MK1 1986 model with digital rev counter (still works), 172 Malossi fitted. Paint work a bit tatty but solid scooter,£1800. Call in shop, phone or message for more info.

Little bit of an air leak around the mag housing on this one. Simple fix with a gasket, new throttle cable fitted , pulley adjusted and a quick blast on the dyno. In , diagnosed , fixed and turned around in 6 days in between a dozen other jobs :)

Fitted one of my own heavily ported P200 cylinders to this scoot , which was ideally suited to a larger carburettor. Bit of an epic getting the jetting right running thru a std. 24/24 si carb and box exhaust but got there in the end . Nice gains for a genuine P200 cylinder :) .

Roys MK1 T5 ,a long way from home (Hertfordshire) just had a Dyno tune after a full engine rebuild. I have been informed by the owner that it is for sale so if any one is interested then either call in or message me. It's a 1986 model with digital rev counter which still works! Engine is a Malossi 172 running thru a Sito exhaust. The engine has just had a complete overhaul including new Tameni crank, cush drive, cruciform, 4 plate clutch, bearings, seals etc. Body work/paint... is a bit rough but no holes/rot an ideal restoration job :) The paint looks better in the photos than it does in reality. I've took a close up of the only bad bit of bodywork I could see. He is looking for around £1800 ono

Unusual way to fit quadrant buffers 😂

Superb '65 Spanish 150s MotoVespa having some fine tuning done to a Anglia Scooters built Pinasco 225 engine. Running at a very respectable 20+ hp thru a Std. si 24/24 carb.

It's been a long while now but from April 5th the workshop hourly rate will be increased to £32 per hour to cover the ever increasing business overheads incurred as we expand. Existing/ongoing jobs will be charged at the old agreed rate. Onwards and upwards :)

New disc conversion fitted and rear brake sorted...….just long range tank to fit and another one done :)

The joys of working on classic scooters......spending hours getting a 65 year old beauty back into life only to find out the engine sounds like a tin bucket full of ball bearings 😱
