Any Baked Cakes Description
Hello and welcome to Any Baked Cakes; a small, local business, which is run from home, producing freshly baked cakes in any shape or form you can imagine, for any and every special event you can think of. Infact. . . any cake you want or desire.
Any Baked Cakes prides itself with extensive knowledge gained from over 30 progressive years in the catering industry; from Distinctions and Merits achieved at catering college, to hands-on experience in the 'real world', enabling up-to-date cake making and design using up-to-date equipment and techniques and attending local sugar-craft workshops.
Any Baked Cakes is continually producing celebratory cakes, photographs of which will be added to the ever-growing gallery, as they occur.
Any Baked Cakes is up-to-date with current legislation by means of:
Intermediate Food Hygiene Management Certificate; Environmental Health Authority Registered and Food Hygiene Rating 5 (Very Good);
Public Liability Insurance Cover

A new customer....Newborn Art Studio (photographers) based in Connington.
For Kaleigh's daughter Phoebe. A Ginormous 3-tiered 1st Birthday cake. Top two tiers Chocolate Ganache and bottom tier (9") Victoria sponge sandwiched with Strawberry jam and Swiss Meringue Buttercream. Lots of colourful Fondant detail in the form of Unicorn; seqins; rainbow; roses and piped buttercream rosettes. Mum and Dad were 'thrilled' with the result and feed-back by the end of the same day was that everyone loved it! From Amanda and her fellow students; a special cake for a special Tutor, at the end of an intense Therapy course at Peterborough Regional College. A Gluten and Dairy free lemon cake. I have heard back from Amanda saying the cake was fabulous! I couldn't wish for a nicer comment. Good luck to you all with your results!

Every year Colin hosts his LWL event (Ladies who Lunch) and for the past couple of years, it has been my pleasure to be invited to provide a cake. This year was extra-special, as one of the guests, a D-day Veteran no less, turned 95. Colin asked for a tank image to be included in the detail. I used a template of a Churchill tank. These photos are from Karen's 60th Birthday celebration at Pidley Golf Course last weekend. The temperature in our conservatory, where we usually take photos, was 'off the scale' and far too hot to attempt leaving the cake in there for one single minute, so Karen kindly forwarded these images at her event. A big, big Topsy Turvey cake. Bottom Chocolate Ganache; top Lemon Drizzle (Karen's favourite). Decorated with Silver Fondant elements to mark the 'milestone' occasion. Happy Birthday Karen.
