22mm Secret Nail Cladding: The cladding we use for our buildings is Scandinavian Redwood, a softwood. 22mm refers to the thickness of the cladding we offer as standard, we also regularly use 12 & 25mm as well as hardwood options. The secret nail aspect of our cladding allows the boards to be pinned as applied, meaning you will not see the nail holes within the walls of your building. This is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also means there are no nail holes for water to sit in avoiding potential for rot, and makes painting your building in the future quick and easy as there are no nail holes that need the paint working into.

Pretty little workshop of 10ft x 8ft. Building includes 3' x 2' country style windows with external sills. Heavy duty felt tiles in the colour slate, external painting and guttering. Inside the building is unlined and includes a workbench and shelves.

External painting: To treat our buildings we offer an optional painting service, external painting is required to protect the timber and prolong the lifespan of your building. To start we treat each individual knot to help prevent them bleeding, we then hand paint all of our timber with 3 coats of paint prior to assembly of panels, meaning every piece of timber is painted by brush individually. This ensures that as your building settles, which is natural for timber, no unpainted timber will become exposed. This gives your building the best start in life to ensure it lasts the test of time. We use Valspar water based paints due to their excellent quality and vast colour range, they will also colour match which many customers find useful.

Summer House / Pool Filter Shed. This bright little building is both functional and a pretty addition to the soon to be renovated pool area, housing the swimming pool filter, and giving it's occupants space to store all their pool fun equipment. The Summer House is 11ft x 12ft including a 3ft veranda. Features double half glazed doors, 2'x2' windows, decorative barge boards and fascias and guttering.

Beautifully settled into it's surroundings is our Shepherds Hut of 8' x 15' including a 3' veranda. Featuring 22" wheels, stable door with feature window, 3 casement, country style windows with flower boxes and internal sills. Building is insulated and lined with electrics and includes a small wood burner.

Our Facebook has been very quiet over the last year, but our workshop has not with lots of changes and improvements. This year we plan to keep you updated regularly with whats been keeping us so busy, and offering information on our products. Small Business Saturday | a little reminder that whilst the Black Friday madness is taking over social media, this coming weekend is Small Business Saturday. Here at Appletree, we are not only a small family run business, but we also work alongside local small businesses as our suppliers to ensure we also practise what we preach. Shepherd Hut Studio Shower & Toilet Block, with Service Room. This 8ft x 13ft building has been divided up into 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms which each include shower, toilet and basin, and a service room accessible from the back of the building. Features include bathroom and plumbing, insulation and lining (Option 2), Electrics, large Stable doors, and frosted privacy glass.

Our Shepherd Hut Studio being used as a beautiful pool room. Building of 10ft x 6ft features a black tin roof, double half glazed country style doors, country style windows, external painting in Valspar colour match for Farrow & Ball Lulworth.

We don't just work with softwood, this workshop is beautiful Cedar cladding, which will grey with time. Workshop of 12' x 5'6", pent roof and two single ledge and braced doors. We also offer Oak upgrades.

Very pretty workshop to complement the customers period cottage. Workshop size of 10ft x 20ft, features include veranda / wood store, double mortise and tenon doors, 2'x3' country style opening windows, grey felt tiles, electric package, unlined, guttering, workbench and external painting in Rocky Shelter and White.

Lovely Shepherds Hut of 9ft x 11ft creating an outdoor space for a family to use, includes large day bed, seating area, shelf and large wood burner. Other features include; Sedum roof, 16" wheels, country style windows, half glazed country style door, insulated and lined (option 1), electrics package, and external painting in Sprig of Sage.

This shed has an internal wall to create space for both a potting shed, and children toy shed both within the one building.

Another sedum roof is helping sink this shed into its surroundings nicely.
