Congratulations to the lovely Sharron who got married on Saturday.
She put a lot of thought and effort into her special day. I had the pleasure of making large paper flowers to adorn each chair. Such a different idea from using sashes to decorate the chairs

There's no doubt that High Streets are changing and must change with competition from online stores, out of town shopping centres and larger stores closing branches or going out of business.
Bedford has a wealth of independent businesses and I love being part of this community. I feel privileged to be able to spend my days handcrafting paper flowers,to be able to chat to people who wander into my little shop, catch-up with fellow crafters and teach people how to make wonderful things.
But like all small, independent businesses we need support - from councils, landlords, of course - but also from those who want to shop local, who want unusual and unique items and who want to make a small business owner do a happy dance when someone buys from them

The workspace area is perfect for groups up to 10 children, and different crafts are available - origami, paper flowers, pom pom headbands and more - everyone gets to take home their creations (so you don't have to give extra party bags!)
