If you’ve visited our little shop on Wensum Street you will recognise Kieran. He started Artel three years ago and has been providing the good people of Norwich with exceptional coffee ever since. Often found wielding a kendama and befriending dogs.

This place is a regular sanity-restorer for me. Kieran's coffees are top notch. He is always looking out for coffees from different roasters ensuring that he's at the cutting edge of the burgeoning Norwich coffee scene.

If you find yourself in Norwich you must visit this place. In the space of 45 minutes I began to understand a little about the complex nature of coffee, I was told by my son Nick that I wasn't allowed milk or sugar which horrified me but I think I enjoyed the best coffee ever which was made by Kyle. This is a small friendly place, we chatted to a fisherman, I learned a bit about sign writing and had a thoroughly enjoyable visit.

Great space. I love fresh food and stuff so yah. I'd like to give birth there.

Even if the coffee wasn't the best in Norwich, I would go in this cafe purely for the aesthetics. Lovely.
