i live 5 minutes from this place...and is my favourite place for my photographic walks in the nature. I always meet lots of deers...and there are 2 white...so rare. really great place

Wonderful setting, friendly and polite staff and simply a fabulous place to enjoy food, good company and quality time, be it with colleagues or friends and family.

We had our wonderful wedding day on the 26th May 2018! Safe to say it was the best day of our lives! The staff were so helpful and the venue just blew everyone away! No one had a bad word to say! The food was incredible! Nigel our Toast master ensured the day ran as smoothly and it certainly did!



Now Hannah- we’ll what can we say! Over the 2 years of this wedding being booked we ended up with quite a few coordinators. Then Hannah came along! She has been absolutely FANTASTIC!!! We couldn’t of done it without you hannah! We felt so relaxed around you! We feel like we have left Ashridge not only married! But with a friend for life!

You really completed our wedding day � thank you xxxx

We got married at Ashridge House on 28/10/17. It has taken me this long to write a review because I’ve struggled to put into words how amazing this venue is. I cannot thank Hayley the wedding coordinator enough . With all the ideas she gave us in the planning to her calming presence on the day. I truly believe our day wouldn’t have been so perfect if it wasn’t for her. All the staff were so wonderful and amazing. Nigel was so accommodating with the food options we wanted for the kids at the wedding. The venue is breathtaking and all of our guests commented on how perfect the day was and how the staff were always there. I also thank them for the suggestions on vendors - Rebecca Marsala flowers and JustSmile for the DJ. Our day was perfect and I can’t thank Ashridge House and Hayley enough for making our day so memorable.

We couldn't have picked a better venue! Not only do the house and grounds speak for themselves but the staff were absolutely faultless! Big thanks to Hayley, Katie and Nigel in particular who were fantastic throughout. Nigel - the food was incredible! All our guests had the most amazing time and it truly was the best day of lives! Thank you!!

The most perfect venue - our wedding was a true fairytale thanks to Nigel and his team of wedding co-ordinators who ensured that everything ran like clockwork and best of all, stress free for us. Could not find a single fault in this venue!

The biggest thank you in the world to Ashridge House for making our dream day come true. From booking the venue 2 years prior, right through to our big day in February this year, the staff were exceptional, going over and above to make our day perfect. Ashridge is a breathtaking venue, made even more wonderful by the hospitality and service received. We cannot thank you enough for everything, and for helping to make our dream day come true!

Thank you for making my Mums wedding such a special day. Wedding coordinators Hannah and Haley were just amazing and sorted everything. The food and wine was first class. The DJ Tony Poole was just fab. I would highly recommend this amazing venue, it was truly magical.

Superb country house and estate! Great place for business meetings and weekend visits - if you could go for a full cooked breakfast over the weekend it really would be heaven!

Overall our day was very successful and a big thanks to the whole team at Ashridge. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, and helped our day go smoothly. A great venue, the food was liked by the guests and overall everything was well executed. Good help from Ashridge directing our suppliers and chasing them up on our behalf on the day. There were a couple of minor things which got missed (beers during the reception, garden games), but they weren't noticed and were minor anyway. The venue has pretty much everything you could want in a venue, with good accommodation on site as well. It's a splendid and beautiful setting which guests of all ages thoroughly enjoyed.

Our wedding in November 2016 at Ashridge House was absolutely perfect. From my research, Ashridge was the clear winner as there are different rooms for each part of the day. Our coordinator, Charlotte was lovely and very helpful, providing advice and ideas throughout the process. She set all of our favours and table names out on the day and liaised with our suppliers for us! The food at Ashridge really is fantastic, and this was something that all the guests commented on. The service was flawless and all staff were also really friendly, from the waiters to the receptionists, nothing was too much trouble. All staff seemed genuinely happy to be working there! Throughout the whole process there was a very flexible, professional and personal approach. I can’t recommend Ashridge House enough, it’s a hidden gem and is certainly worth the journey!

Many thanks, had a fabulous afternoon at Ashridge House's open day on Sunday 10th June 2018 as part of the National Garden Scheme. Formal gardens met nature seamlessly, helped by the lovely weather. Plus a naughty cream tea with helpful staff on hand sealed the deal. Will be a date in my diary!

Only thing letting it down was the toilets � dirty portable loos on a hot day not nice with no hands wash available

As a professional wedding photographer, there isn't too many venues I recommend based on the quality of staff, it's normally visual aesthetics which is important for building a wedding story.



Not only is this venue stunning the staff compliment the whole experience. Kate, Nigel and their team run such a great operation and are extremely hands on and hard working making the day so enjoyable for all involved. Please consider not only the venue when making a big decision on your wedding day but the team that are behind it too which is so important for the success of your special day. Highly recommended.

I seek info on the American military units stationed at the house during world war two,especially the medical hospital unit...my mum was given a pioneering gynecological operation as she was unable to have kids....result...my brother and me are able to be here....first my brother in 1946 and then me 12 years later..

I enjoyed it but woodfiredwonders .com were appalling. My family and I queued for pizza for 40 minutes and when we got to the front the woman apologised and declared they had run out. How she didn't have the wits to spot she was running low and pass the message down the line is beyond me.
