hi to all the staff at asteras. I just wanted to say a big thank you for a great evening Saturday night . i took my daughter rosie and her boyfiend for a quiet meal so i could get to know her new man ..we had such a brilliant night . certainly didn't end up a quiet night ..the owners and staff were just amaing a ..nd made us feel so welcome and it felt we had known them all for years .. entertainment was excellent . food and drink flowed all night . definitely arranging my daughters party .. so recommended ..will be popping in to see you all soon so make sure you have the shots lined up keeley lol lol xxxx

Well words actually fail me. Coming from an Italian background but from east London I have eaten Turkish Italian Chinese Greek ...this is one of the BEST meals I have ever ever had the food was amazing as was the service staff. Abbey taverna days are gone this is a freshly cooked menu and fresh new name and staff absolutely first class in my eyes x

We visited this evening and were very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and very welcoming and the food was even better. Would definately recommend it and would go again. It has new owners and has been redecorated. Very clean. Many thanks xx

Such a beautiful restaurant to how it use to be. The atmosphere is relaxing and the restaurant is spacious. Traditional and modern Greek music all through the night !The entertainment was great I will be back for my friends birthday!

Loved it went for staff night out with my colleagues we were treated well and had a lot of fun. If you have 40 or more guest they open just for you!!! Food was a lot so much starters and the entrainment was good. Overall go and visit demitri and his team where lovely and very accommodating and made us feel so welcome. I came in with a group of ladies (we didn't act it) and we had such a good time we cannot thank the whole team enough for their banter, entertainment and generosity.. we will def be coming back if you'll have us. thanks guys �

Amazing evening,food,entertainment,music amazing, friendliest staff ever, lovely to see at the end of the evening the staff enjoy themselves too, but are still there for customers. Will definitely be going back. Thanks to you ALL for giving me and my friends an outstanding evening.

The food was good service good drinks expensive staff very friendly the singer was great belly dancer was rubbish didnt do belly dancing only shook her tits about for 15mins there was no dj only recordered music could have done with more English music to much greek music

for new year food no that nice no desser nothing the only good think was muzik dancing

Went here for birthday night out. Food was lovely, but was very boring. No entertainment apart from a belly dancer who didn't start till 10.30. Then they finally started the disco. Got there at 7.30 and left at 12, so only enjoyed the last hour and a half. Bottle of wine cost £15 when I get same one for £4 at shop. One of the male staff was very abrupt and rude when we asked why the entertainment was so late. Will never go there again.

Very disappointed was looking forward to a hen do In two weeks last minute received a call saying they overbooked . Not at all professional..

Had my hen party booked for the 17th they cancelled on the Tuesday before as they had a Romanian party was then relocated last minute to there Ilford branch which was totally rubbish. They also had a Romanian party and the manager there was very rude when we asked for English music. They had a belly dancer that was good but was a rubbish experience.

We have used them as Abbey taverna for years and was always Amazing nights but won't be booking here again!

Ruined my hen night!

Food was disgusting and drinks over priced .

First and foremost the food was ok BUT the rest of the evening was shit! The whole place was lit up like a school canteen so i spent most of the night squinting. The so called singer was like that cwying feller from only fools and horses and the belly dancer was just some random bird who shook her tits about for 20 minutes.

Now on to the worst part. The price of the drinks!!! Every time we got a round In the price was different and stupidly over priced. On average it was about 4 quid for half a can of coke so you can imagine what a proper drink cost.

If you are thinking about booking this place..... DON'T!!!!

Booked a hen party in Feb for my sister next week - 17th june.

With plenty of communication in the last few months.

Had a call from Dimitri today to say they have double booked.



The most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with.



ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED !!!



Had a call from the owner to say they booked a christening of 80 last week and couldn't turn down the business!



Then had the cheek to say that he was totally at fault, admitted responsibility and offered me to do the night at the other restaurant in Ilford!!!



Wouldn't EVER deal with these money grabbing selfish people again!
