What a difference a week can make!! The first week at the former Alpha craft site has been a busy one. mould tools in, 4 fleet boats moved and lifted for winter refurbishment and a new hull and superstructure nearly complete! The new (ex oyster) team are working great with our existing team and we are all overwhelmed by brundall boating community helping us out where ever they can. Special thanks to Ferry Marina and NYA for all the help and advice. Exciting times. We are redesigning the broads cruisers and want to equip them with hire in mind so would love to know what amenities you would like to see on board?

Really gutted for the amazingly skilled people we've met today and the circumstances around the demise of oyster yachts, really wish we could take them all on! 2 more days of interviewing commence but there are soo many people with families or even without families that gave their life to it, come on Norfolk let's get them sorted between us!

Exciting news!! We are pleased to let you all know that we have recently got the keys to the former alpha craft site in Brundall, with a big thanks going to James and all at Norfolk yacht agency for working with us. Our plan is to use the facility for our existing fleet maintenance program but also carry on the boat building with a new range of cruisers coming soon! My wife was apprehensive about the holiday with two children aged 4 & 9 plus our dog (and me) in a small space but she loved it..

Went to the yard to take some pictures and the service provided knowing I wasn't spending any money with them was top notch especially compared to other boatyards that turned me away. Got the opportunity to look round all craft in person and can say they're all quality craft 100% service is excellent craft are excellent!

We were a little nervous as we were very new to the broads/boating but Merv was FANTASTIC. We could not be more grateful. We had a fantastic holiday! Thank you!

We have just had a wonderful weekend aboard the cruiser Hoveton with two of our grandchildren. The boat was comfortable and operated as it should. Nothing spectacular but what puts this company ahead of the rest is the friendly, helpful service and attention to detail. Lovely people, efficient and professional. They are definitely our first call if we want another Broads holiday.

We all had a fantastic time on the Walsham, all the staff were very friendly and helpful looking forward to our next voyage xx :)

Took my dad on the river for a long weekend for his 60th birthday. The broads boating Co were excellent. Merv was insanely friendly and talked us through everything on the boat before we left. We hired 'Upton' and we fell in love with her. We had the most amazing weekend and are already planning our next trip for later in the year. Can't recommend these guys enough!!

This boat company is The new Sheriff in town.

With a stroke of luck we found it and got a Mighty boat at a fantastic price.

Mervin (who could possibly be the nicest and most helpful man you will EVER meet) and his staff are always ready to help.

If you can find a better and more cheaper way to holiday on the broads get back to me. I won't hold my breath.

Spent a long weekend with kids, grand parents and great grandparents aboard the Surlingham.



The staff where excellent on arrival very informative, great fun with the kids and the boat was fantastic considering the very competitive pricing. Hassle free weekend. Will definitely be back next year. 5* +++

Ryan came to our rescue late on a Friday night with the offer of a boat for a long weekend after we had been let down by another company. We arrived the next day and the boat was just being finished, we were the first hirers of this boat (Oulton) of the season. We had a perfect weekend covering the whole of the Northern Broads. The boat was ideal for us with plenty of space, we particularly liked the fresh white bedding. The staff we met were all very friendly and pleasant. We wish Ryan all the best in his latest venture, we'll definitely try the restaurant next time we're on the Broads! Thanks again!

Outstanding service, 5 star plus. We arrived on Tuesday 26th September and after setting off from Wroxham we found we had left one of my husbands heart tablets behind. Thank's to the Internet and mobile we finally tracked some down at Acle chemist. We subsequently moored at Acle and we're greeted by Beth. On talking to her she advised here were no taxis available that day until after 6pm, when the chemist was closed. Both of us are disabled and could not get to the chemist, let alone back. Beth was so helpful and Dave from Pedros gave us a lift in his car to the chemists, and back. We cannot express our gratitude for Beth and Daves help, the day and holiday saved. We hate to think what could have happened if we had not been lucky enough to Moor here and meet Beth. Thank ou so much.

Just spent a wonderful week aboard the brilliant vessel "Upton". We were made welcome by Beth who went through all the necessities needed. Beth was very helpful and assisted with requests where possible. Nothing was too much trouble. The Upton was a brilliant boat that we will miss now that we are back home. Now looking for further holidays on the Broads with the Broads Boating Company. Totally recommended to all that wish to experience the broads.

Just spent a two week holiday on board the Wroxham. Many thanks to Lynley for the cleanliness of the boat and to Beth for her expert knowledge of boat handling and general knowledge of the broads. So grateful to Beth for showing us how to operate the boat and giving us confidence to take off on our own.The BBC is very lucky to have such good people that are very friendly, helpful and go the extra distance to help people. Thank you

Have to say we had a boat from another company when we got Acle we had a problem with mooring �Beth was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and she has such a happy lady with an amazing personality sorted our Pirate Ship out, will be renting from your company for a two week break for 6 next year, she is a credit to you

Didn't know what to expect from our first boating holiday but Merv from the Broad Boating Co totally put my mind and worries at rest from the minute he introduced himself. He went over everything in detail and was so friendly. The boat far exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed for our stay. We can't wait to go back !

Cannot thank Beth enough, we moored up on Tuesday afternoon, Beth came to collect her mooring fees and we asked if she knew Anywhere we coild get a takeaway as my dad could not get of the boat due to the mooring being on the bank, Beth gave us the information which we were very grateful for, a little while later she knocked on a window and said she has a better mooring spot for us, she even drove the boat down there and moored it for me and got a step to enble my dad to get of the boat, meaning he could meet his brother and sister in law for meal at Pedro's x Beth is amazing she went out of her way to help and support everyone that needed it x a credit to the company x Thank you Beth x

As complete novices in the boating world, worried about mooring and making complete fools of ourselves, we arrived at Acle bridge, only to be met by Beth, she was only to happy to show us exactly what to do, giving us lots of tips on the art of mooring and knot tying, over nite we were hit by a storm and the gusts of wind were still high in the morning....Yet again Beth came to our rescue, she assisted and showed us how to leave our mooring...A very big Thank you Beth, your a credit to your company.
