lovely golf course and friendly people. a women friendly golf club, the first I have found and I love it.

User

Lovely friendly staff, who go out of there way to help. Rooms lovely and clean, some parts might need updating but cannot fault it. Nice quiet location. Stayed for two nights, highly recommend. Nice short break away. Only criticism should give you a choice of breakfast did not check we were vegetarians before serving, but lucky enough we are not. Breakfast was all freshly cooked. Do not over look this place for major chain hotels.

Love the two courses. The people who are fantastic. Great family feel to the club

User

Food fantastic staff very poilte thank u ever so much.

User

Played the Baron course which is the longer of the two. As for the course it self it is suffering due to lack of rain and greens are a bit brown but still playable however got to say found the course challenging as you need to keep your drives down the fairway as you are penalised if you dont so be warned . Still overall found the course good value especially as we had the course to ourselves on Sat afternoon.

User

Only used the golf course and the bar area but a nice venue, good facilities and good value.

User

Love Beadlow staff always friendly and the golf for juniors is excellent. Just need to get the pro shop sorted with stock and it will be complete. Course is looking good again

I went to a function in the evening, the food was lovely and I enjoyed the evening. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Richard the manager was there all evening to make sure things ran smoothly.

User

Delicious food, good atmosphere, but DJ's music choice was abit random with some songs, but all-in-all a great night!

User

After reading all the negative reviews on TripAdvisor I was a bit worried. But as the business paid for the room I had no choice! I was pleasantly surprised and if I am down there again on business I will be requesting this hotel!

Friendly staff and clean rooms! A little bit of dust in lamp shades.... WiFi could be a lot better!

I'll do a more detailed review on TripAdvisor.

I stayed here 2 nights for a business trip (on a budget). The hotel is outdated. But, it's cheap. The room was very spacious, clean and had basic toiletries, hairdryer, TV and a comfortable bed.

The hotel reception and bar are in a separate building. The bar is old fashioned and does not serve dinner.

User

Bit muddy and sticky, ball not running in fairways, greens very good and only a couple of temporary tees

User

Not good at all, I would have liked to have been told at the time of booking that there was a junior competition on! Also really terrible greens which made the £28.50 fee not worth it. At the time I didn't question the fee but after checking I'm sure I was overcharged. I will be making a complaint. If anybody wants a well kept and amazing greens course I would recommend the bedford in great denham.

User

shocking course needs a lot of work be prepared for a good shot to loose a golf ball or 3 due to the daisies and clover on the fairways yellow balls needed

User

This place is getting worse. I have been playing golf here for the past 15 years, and in all that time I have never seen any greenkeepers working on any of the courses. I went for a round on the Baron course today, but gave up on the 4th fairway. The grass on and around the fairways is way too long, I lost 2 balls one just off the fairway. The state of the course is a joke, the grass, concrete bunkers, poor pathways, etc.. As a paying guest I am not happy, I would be even more miffed as a member.

Hotel wasn't much of it. Staff who saw us in were friendly enough but the complaint really is with the decor of the hotel which really needs rebuilding from the grounds up. Doesnt have a character to it and wouldn't recommend it outside to anyone who isn't travelling through and needing a place to stay for the night. Far more nicer establishments about if not chose a travel lodge or premier inn.

Again no criticism of the staff as the girls working there were very pleasant. but the interior of the hotel was as dull as a monotone Roger Moore bond villain. Felt like a place motorway contractors would go for a night and I would NOT recommend it to a family or single lady staying on her own.

User

Golf was ok but rough is impossible, be prepared to lose lots of balls. Greens need work on them. The whole place is rundown and needs big cash input. The venue has plenty of potential and the golf course could be so much better with some tlc. Food was very poor. Had captains day there and would not recommend at all for that type of event. Sent food back as cold, dried up burgers, desert took forever and was out of a microwave. Unable to serve everyone at the same time and whilst doing food no one to serve behind bar. Luckily I didn’t stay but some did and accommodation was really basic, also bar shut at 11.
