LOOK who turned up again last week!! She has been seen on & off over the last few years & it was great to see her again last week (Briefly) - She was branded by a German seal rescue centre at Nordeney just before her release. A female Common Seal named (Yvonne) hence YO! and she was released on 17/9/1995 as a three month old weaned pup. The animals were formerly marked in this way. Since 1998 they are marked with tags on the back flippers. So shes now apprx 23 yrs old! Common seals live on average 30 years!

great trip with family and friends. Its cold out there though!!

User

What a fab trip. Can recommend enough!

User

We went out with Beans today. Despite the weather we had an amazing time. The crew were fantastic and kept us informed and entertained throughout (Jason's pirate jokes though ). We saw loads of seals both in the water and lazing on the sand banks as well as Sandwich Terns, Oyster Catchers and Brent Geese. Be warned it does get cold so wrap up and you will get wet (it is a boat after all). Fortunately we were well prepared. This has been the highlight of our Easter break. Thank you Beans.

User

We loved our trip to see the seals. Friendly staff and we were fortunate with the weather too.

Thanks beans boats.

User

We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Beans Boat Trips. The 2 gentlemen were very informative and made the trip even more fun. We saw plenty of Seals close up. I would definitely recommend this company and intend going again in the near future. Thanks to all involved.

User

We (family of 4) went out on the trip today, it was brilliant. The crew were excellent, very informative and gave everyone on the boat plenty of time and opportunity to see and take photos of the seals. Perfect weather and an all round great trip. Thank you.

User

Very well organised, and we thought Beans offered the best value for money. The Crew (John and Norman) knew their stuff and gave us lots of information about the seabirds and the seals themselves. All in all, a brilliant afternoon with lots of laughs.

User

This boat trip was well organised with very friendly staff talking to us all the time giving lots of information

We loved getting of the boat and spending time on the island.

I would definitely recommend this trip to young and the older customer. 👍

User

This boat trip is worth every penny. We have a 5yr and 3yr old and they loved every minute. To see the seals in their natural environment was so lovely. Jas and John our captains for the day were funny and full of interesting information. Can't wait to come back

User

Me and hubby went out on the boat trip yesterday. We had an amazing time and would like to say a big thank you to you all. The tour was really informative and friendly. You went out of the way to make sure we all got to see some seals in the sea as well as those on the shore. Throughly recommended and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

User

Impromptu trip to see the seals after our 2nd unsuccessful trip to Wells when again we couldn't find anywhere to park. So pleased we popped by this lovely National Trust site and managed to book on Beans Boat trips. Saw lots of seals including babies. Very informative and caring staff, we felt very safe on their capable hands and had a lovely trip with lots of memories and photos.

User

Had a fantastic trip today! There weren't many seals but plenty of birds and lovely guides John and John to keep us entertained. We absolutely loved the relaxed trip. We were offered a free trip the next day because the seals were shy which was a lovely thing for them to do, especially as they have no control over the wildlife. I would definitely recommend these guys to everybody x

User

Great trip, brilliant crew, definitely recommend!!

User

Friendly staff, very well informed and such a lovely way to explore the inlets of the north Norfolk coast. Excellent value for money.

User

Excellent boat trip on Wednesday, lovely seeing the seals. Very informative commentary!

User

Booked a private boat trip to see the Seals etc.

for 6 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs, as a treat on my wife Abbey's, 40th birthday.

Was worth every extra penny of what it would have cost to have gone on a standard 'public trip'.

Plenty of room to move about, easy viewing for Seals and other wildlife, much better photo opportunies, inc. family shots, which otherwise probably wouldn't have been possible.

Graham, our Captain for the trip was super friendly, helpful and very knowledgable regards to not just the Seals, but other Wildlife, local history plus other unrelated local information.

I know we all thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would definately do again ourselves and recommend Beans Boats in particular to anybody else considering a trip.

Thank you so much!

User

Amazing trip! What a privilege to be able to see so many seals on one trip! (Over 200!) My son & nephew couldn't believe they were able to see seals in their natural habitat! Myself, husband and sis in law loved the experience too.

Would definitely recommend a visit! Lovely staff and great crew, informative and happy...

User

We went on the boat trip today with two young children, we were not warned until on the boat that we might get wet and our 11 month old got wet, the water was cold and my husband was soaked trying to stop our daughter getting even wetter. We had waterproof clothing in the car if we had been told when we had booked the tickets then we would have changed, there is no warning on the leaflets either. I do not think this trip is suitable for children under 3 years either, we were worried about their safety.

User

Very happy with boat trip & staff on the boat BUT one particular lady member of staff on shore taking money totally on a power trip! Rude, arrogant, unprofessional, awkward even the staff at the National Trust agreed as they've had many complaints about her too. Next time we go we will use a different company as there are others on quay & more professional looking outfits also when recommending to others too.
