Get Set for School is a flexible, play-based curriculum that offers a full pre-writing program and materials that build critical skills like early math and literacy. It includes three programs designed to prepare children for school: Readiness & Writing, Language & Literacy, and Numbers & Math.

One of our families has recommended this pool for children with additional needs

A small friendly swim school that aims to be as inclusive as possible. They have lessons on a Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Thursday evening and Sunday morning. A section of Sunday morning is tailored to smaller classes of 4 children to cater for those with additional needs, so that each child can get the individual attention needed.
Swimming teachers are water based and offer understanding and reassurance to the most nervous swimmer .

Miss Jaime states that "Recent research shows the use of sensory and adaptive approaches, such as wearing a pressure garment, increases attention and promotes adaptive behaviors (Polatajko & Cantin, 2010; Haar, 1998; Olson & Moulton, 2004). This type of external sensory support is often used by parents and service providers for calming the child and reducing anxiety to prepare them for learning and task engagement."
