Went to watch white collar boxing and it was great the atmosphere at this place is electric and we made a huge difference for charity. I want to go again, try watching a pantomime because I heard they are the ones to go to perhaps take the whole family.

User

This venue was hired for Core Sport Classic in September and we were the tanners for the show. Great venue with really helpful staff. Bedford people are some of the friendliest people we've met

User

Lovely venue. Staff a little over zealous during intervals - our half empty drinks that we had left under our chair to drink were taken away whilst we stepped out for fresh air. Otherwise, very nice and friendly. Easy parking nearby too.

User

Great local venue with a variety of acts covering all genres. Handy location for eating either before or after the show.

User

Great little venue. Really get up close to the stars. So easy access for parking too.

User

Went to see Imelda May. Corn exchange is a lovely building, well maintained and clean. The bar area seats and tables were slightly dated, but fine.

The organisation of getting people in and out was rather odd, having to enter via the building next door, and it took a long time to get everyone out, as not all exit doors were opened.

User

Organisation at the event was appalling, time on the Tickets was not the time concert started - not enough staff on in the bar - interval drinks wasn’t put out in time. Imelda May Concert itself was fab but wasn’t impressed with the corn exchange at all. Tickets were also double booked for many people.

User

Ed Byrne started later than billed, due to people not having the seat they may have thought they paid for, I'm having deja vu

User

The sound was so bad couldn't hear any vocals. Extra seats at the front meant audience too close to the speakers and the stage.

User

So disappointed with Imelda May event ( not her she was great). Kept waiting outside to pick up our tickets from box office as meet and greet going on (it was very cold).

Despite 7.00 advertised start didn't start till 7.40. Couldn't see a thing as seating so crammed in and not staggered. People walking past us constantly

Don't know what went wrong with the sound checks. You could "feel" the vibration right to the back of the hall. Fine if heavy metal but not for this audience. We stood it till 10.00. The people next to us had enough by 9.00!

User

Attended the Abba Forever gig last night with my friends, one of whom is disabled. The event was advertised as a SEATED event yet the majority of the people in the stalls were standing up and dancing in front of their seats instead of the aisles as requested via several announcements. As a result we were unable to see the show. The manager agreed that this was unfortunate but there was nothing they could do as no other seats were available. What they should have done is made it a standing event. We were not the only ones who couldn't see the show. In the end we had to leave early due to some very immature middle aged women who were extremely rude and discriminatory towards my disabled friend.

Future events need to be organised much better and make them accessible to ALL.

User

When your own website shows a seating layout for a show and customers purchase tickets for a particular seat, the very least you can do is issue the same seating plan to the management of the venue so that the seats can be set out according to the plan? Obviously not!! Complete farce with clueless staff offering seats at the back or on the balcony when I’d booked and paid for seats at the front.

User

What a joke cancelling a show without contacting the customers ( admit it there was no email sent as noone got one ) and according to the Comedian was given notice 7 weeks ago

Very Disappointed

User

They cancelled a show I was due to see but did not bother to let any of us know even though had our e mail addresses. First we knew was when we arrived at the venue after driving 25 miles

User

The most chaotic venue I have ever been to!

Pre-booked seats allocated to other people. We were watching Ed Byrne who was fab, he even offered for people to sit on the stage.

User

Show was postponed without letting ticket holders know. Unacceptable.

User

Poor that you couldn't let us know Jason manford had been postponed. Poor poor service. .

User

No communication that Jason Manford show was cancelled, no email received despite having contact details when tickets booked. Having checked website night before the show when all seemed ok, was very unhappy to find cancellation notice 1.5 hours before show on website, whilst on way to theatre. Rubbish customer service!!!

User

Dreadful. Tickets booked for Jason Manford last night. Not contact directly to inform customers it was cancelled. Will be seeking a full refund. I want to support a local venue but I will think twice before booking anything here again.
